So Here's my Verdict: Hotel: Its an old one. Like one can see and feel that its not the typical Hotel with somehow modern touch to it. So expect some stuff that one can usually experience in an old Hotel building ( Old wood aroma, abit dark lighting, etc.) The Room: So the room itself is not in modern side. In my room, it has old stuff that somehow needs to be replaced like the Cabinet, aircon, the Toilet lighting and other basic things.

The Mattress is ok at least and the hotel workers that cleans the Rooms are doing their job good. But I would say, its pretty decent room but lacks more things inside. The Staff: Friendly and Accommodating. No Doubt about it. The Breakfast: Typical one but they try to serve Food request if its feasible. Remember for the Complimentary breakfast is just basic one. So if someone wants an English breakfast, its a different pay. Overall. I would say this hotel is okayish but needs a big time Improvement.

I don't think this is the right quality for a room that costs 80/night - small room, odor in bathroom, bed squeaks loudly each time I move. breakfast was ok. Friendly staff.

The location was convenient for transportation and the staff was very friendly even at ungodly hours to allow me to leave and return, but the state of the bedroom was okay at best. One of the chairs in the bedroom looked like a cat had been ripping the fabric up all night, the bathroom? above the shower head the ceiling was in a very sorry state with a serious amount of water damage. The silicone around the not working what I can only assume to be a light on the mirror had black mould so outside of necessity I avoided the ensuite.

Really friendly staff esp Shaneela (sorry if not spelled correctly, so kind) we would def stay here again. Very clean. Only downside was room wasn't overly warm and continental breakfast is muesli, juice, toast with marmalade or jam. No cooked meats or cheese. But overall really lovely people and a great location

Shower head broken. Mattress springy and uncomfortable. TV remote not working. Heater turned off by the counter. Not recommended at all. We had booked this hotel for 20 nights but after first 2 nights, we checked out.

Went to the hotel today after booking online via booking.com and I was given the room key and headed up to the room. On the journey there was a used glove on the floor, my door was jammed on the carpet so it was really hard to open, there were a numerous amounts of hairs in the bed itself. stains and marks on the pillows. really dated and smells old.

For 112 it was really below my expectations. Within 10 minutes of getting checked in to the hotel I was out of the hotel. In the process to getting a refund. The receptionist is was the only good think about the hotel. Helpful and understanding. Shame the owner wasn't around to face the facts about hotel. I'm now in the best western in Kensington for the night. Please avoid this hotel. it really is nothing like the pictures etc. Avoid!

Worst place I have ever stayed. Hot water was turned off, no heating in room, TV was automatically switching off and on, toilet and shower was dirty. And top of this, they charged 105 for 1 night. And yes. Breakfast was included but we have to pay for eggs. Not value for money at all.

My stay at My Place lasted from the 8-15th of September 2021. I booked a single room. The room was light and airy, and was also quiet as it overlooked the lawns and trees to the rear. There were a couple of small issues on the first day but these were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the owner and his family. The size of the room was more than adequate for my needs, bath and shower en-suite, and also included a wall safe with instructions on how to put my own code.

A complimentary breakfast was included and was excellent. A cooked breakfast was also available at a charge. The rest of the staff are practical and unobtrusive just like a family run hotel should be. The hotel is well within walking distance of the Tube station so is excellent for getting into the City. I'm more than happy with my stay The rest of the staff are practical and unobtrusive just like a family run hotel should be. I'm more than happy with my stay, happy to put my name to these comments, and it will be the first name on my list the next time I venture South Chris Murphy

Giving one star because they lucky with the location but who experienced this hotel I feel really sorry for them. DO NOT BOOK! Horrible standards. You can get stuck in the elevator anytime unexpectedly. I've seen wall falling a part in the room, stairs has no safety, rats and bugs on the floor straight at the reception are just really terrified Disgusting!

No Health-Safety whatsoever. Should be shut down! Furniture mismatched and broken. Filthy horrible rooms with small windows, electrical sockets are damaged and potentially dangerous. TV not working or the control have to be replaced. Stained mattress, broken shower, rusty towel rails. Lights turning off in corridors - creepy. It's a disaster for everyone. Dirty, dark and old hotel. Management is unprofessional and rude! NEVER visit. Professional inspection should be there right away and see everything what's really happening there.! GOOD LUCK!

First room, noisy lift shaft vent, old TV not working - asked to move, was given a far inferior windowless room that didn't have a working shower. Was lied to by staff member, they said it was the last room. available but on reporting all this to reception in the morning, we were told we could have been moved to a better room - description says club, restaurant and garden but the latter is a building site and no sign of a club. Carpets in the rooms are grubby, and offering rooms with no windows is disgusting for 90 a night - despite sending an email, I have yet to receive a response- really bad business practices

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is a two minute walk to the Earl's Court Subway Station. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs in the area, yet it is reasonably quiet. The hotel is an old building that has been modified over the years. Consequently the rooms are very small and there are some odd features in them. The elevator was obviously added after the fact, but hey at least it has one.

The rooms are in need of a little updating. The carpet needs replacing and it could use a new mattress. But the service is good and everything seems to be pretty clean. The front desk is attended 24 hours a day, and was helpful anytime we needed anything. The continental breakfast was mediocre. All in all, a decent place for the price paid.

Beds are terrible! Would have been better sleeping on the floor. Some maintenance and replacement needs to be looked into.

The staff is very nice and super accommodating but the facilities leave much to be desired. Such as the elevator does not goo to my floor so I have one above and walk down. The beds are old and stained as well as the mattress "protector". I asked that it be changed but they didn't have any others but they gladly changed the sheets. The continental was pretty decent and balanced. The oatmeal was amazing.

Perfect place for an Aussie's first London visit. The staff are very friendly and always willing to answer all dumb travel questions. Hoping to return some day.
