Dalmacia Hotel

Be careful of front desk. Hispanic male. I tried to catch his attention for a good minute, but did not look up. I said hi, hello, excuse me, but I can definitely sense he was doing it on purpose. The moment he decided to respond he ask me with an uncomfortable tone, "are you staying here?" Hispanic dude with fake white hair lol I would definitely book elsewhere. Customer service is definitely not one of their strong suits.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent room service. Served hot delicious breakfast. Enjoyed the 24/7 complementary cappuccino coffee. Overall loved the stay.

Overall hotel was decent, front staff was friendly, and helpful, room was small but it served the purpose for my stay, they need to update there information about dvd players in the room, there was nothing in my room, also the transportation near there was ok. I had to ask for a pen, and paper which should be standard in the room, and their should be a information book of some sort to tell you what's in the area. But it's all good thankful for apps.

The good was the breakfast, having actual eggs and breakfast meats and the variety of pastries was nice. Except the for the cornbeef (not sure what meat it was, I suspected it was cat food) hash, not the best. Beds were okay and clean. Had hot water in the shower and it drained well. Complaints would be that the room was too hot and they couldn't turn the heat off or put the AC on.

It's a known issue with the hotel and there should be fans available for guests to use. It was 79°F in the room while it was 55°F outside. Additionally, I had requested for my room to be vacuumed again as there was visible debris/dirt on the floor when I checked in. I was told it would be taken care of. Came back a couple hours later and the stuff was still on the floor.

I was visiting a person who stayed there to do her wedding and they staff went above and beyond to satisfy not only me but the bride. Everyone was polite, respectful and eager to make the day special. Although I wasn't a guest, usually when visiting it's a bit strenuous at other hotels. They were very nice to me both days I showed up. And for the wedding it was nothing but smiling faces even under pressure.

The only reason I'm giving them a 4 star is because of the staff. I got there around 730pm and the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Anyone from the staff I got in contact with was friendly. But the room was pretty outdated. The bed and pillows extremely small. The bathroom no tub. Took a while for the hot water to start working. The only place near by for food is the burger king right across the street. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good. This 4 star goes to the staff really

Met all my expectations for being $120 for the night. Free off street parking, close to UBS arena. Clean, but could use some updates. Interesting decor. Front desk woman Jess was very nice.

The hotel is old, run, down and has a incompetent staff. The shower head was falling off the wall and only some of the light worked in the room. When arriving I was told I had reserved the wrong day but it was no problem they fix it. Then charged me for both rooms! Then wouldn't refund the second room. Go anywhere else.

Worst hotel i've ever been in. The bathroom had the smallest sink i ever saw before. The shower doesn't fully drain. Random squeaking noises throughout the night (not from other customers inside the hotel) so I couldn't even sleep. Air conditioners are broken. Would give a 0 if i could. Save your money and go somewhere else this hotel is garbage

This was one of my most unpleasant stays. Will never stay here again and wouldn't recommend to anyone I care about. Main issues during stay Cleanliness - hair on towels, dirty tub Room comfort - heat does not work Wifi - needs major update, I work from home and was NOT able to work from here. Check in process - horrible. 1 front desk attendant had to wait about 30 mins to get my room key.

Also there is no 24/7 guest service so good luck if you need anything after hours. This is a hotel that needs upgrades and has clearly been neglected. It's a shame because it is in a nice quiet queens neighborhood.
