Orlando Hotel

This little hotel, in a line of dozens of nearly identical hotels along this street, was the best value accommodation I could find in London on short notice. I have a single with bathroom for 70 booked the day before. On a summer weekend in London that's good value. My room has a nice big window, is clean and has a fridge, tv, kettle and it doesn't smell like smoke. Admittedly the tv doesn't work and my front facing room gets traffic noise. Appears they have wifi but not sure of the code. Walls are a bit thin, but rear facing rooms should be quieter. However, my recently renovated room cleverly uses space and is in better condition than most rooms at this price.

And while a bit out of the center there are some good restaurants and transportation nearby. For some reason a fire alarm was going off when I arrived and a prospective guest was waiting outside one evening unable to check-in as no one was at reception. Consider arranging check-in time in advance. Management seems a bit scattered, and didn't answer when I called about the stranded guest.

With booking.com and Expedia controlling all reservations these days this hotel is run almost like an Airbnb, and it may not stay good value, because as they get more bookings they'll just raise the price. I'm surprised to see the mention of mold by some as that would really bother me but my room, #7, is in good nick as they say. I do hear my immediate neighbors a bit but happy for the room. The traffic noise does bother at times however. I'd recommend the little Ethiopian restaurant 350 feet up the road for dinner.

The room wasn't at all like the photos, there was mold and cracks on the ceiling, the bathroom had no working lights, and the tiles were almost falling from the wall. The room also had a kettle which had exposed copper wires, which is an absurd fire and safety hazard

No communication, no one comes at the door when you ring the bell, I had to cancel my booking and I did not get any refund. I do not recommend.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. When we have checked in the room wasn't done the bedding was dirty the bathroom as well. Im not if the fire alarm was even working as it was held with plastic spoons! The main entrance is dangerous and sleepy

You get what you pay for in life! Just a bed for the night, no frills, worst of all though; they advertise a free breakfast and when I booked in they tell me no breakfast, because I didn't pre-pay! On the one hand I feel ripped off, on the other hand I feel relieved I don't have to eat here. Given the lack lustre state of the place, I wouldn't trust them serving me food! I won't be back!

We have been here few times and it's very pretty and cosy. The position is very good and the staff very kind! The only sad point is that they don't serve breakfast

Small, but clean. Rooms were really hot, beds not comfortable. But it was safe, clean, and mostly quiet.

Love Mr Orlando's Hotel! Great, friendly little hotel a short walk from Hammersmith amenities. Lovely breakfast, personal attention to guests sets this place apart from any other B&B I've ever stayed in. Price is fantastic for what you get. Happy to come again soon!

Nice place to stay. Conveniently located to transportation routes. Free breakfast. Small bathrooms, though. But, that's probably the British Standard.

Great location, reasonably priced, and very close to transportation. Isabella is a kind person and a great host. I slept past breakfast and she still made me an English breakfast.

Excelent London location for the price you pay. It is small and little old but you dont spend so much time inside in London. Very good breakfast included! I would come again.

Hotel Orlando is a nice hotel for less money. The hotel is very clean big enough for only sleeping. The breakfast is very delicious Mr. Orlando is a very good cook and host. I loved to stay there and it feals like home. I will for sure go back when I go to London again.
