The Abbey Hotel

Held our 3 day European Rotary event here. Avesh Ajay and the whole staff excelled themselves to make it a success.

My cousin's wedding was held here. The food was excellent and friendly staff Great wedding, my cousin done well to arrange this.

Great location, easy parking area, polite and welcome staff. Very tidy and clean bar area, lovely garden area, rooms are tidy, and the the first look gives you posh feeling. Clean and tidy bedding, bathroom, towels. Would definitely come back here again! 100% out of 100%

My family and I held our Mums wake at the Abbey Hotel this week and we would like to thank Ajay and the team for a very professional service in cateringfor us, and our guests. From the first contact, to choosing a menu, the A1 food, allowing us to play our own playlist - the day was perfect and we know if our mum had been there in person she would have been very happy - we certainly know she was there in spirit.

We opted for a cream tea menu and added homemade quiches, salad and sausage rolls. The food was really fresh and of excellent quality and the service and setting was perfect. I would like to personally thank Ajay for his professionalism and compassion, and for making what was a very difficult day for us, something that ran smoothly and was one less thing for us to think about. Room was extremely clean. The breakfast was very nice. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very quiet no outside noise.

Avesh and AJ as usual extremely helpful during our stay. Stay here twice a year whilst visiting relatives and am never disappointed. Would highly recommend.

D handle on the inside of the main fire door into each room, to open them would help. My elderly mum got stuck in her room as she could not pull it open. Thank you we enjoyed our stay, we had 4 rooms.

Great room, we stayed here 2 nights and we sleep really well, the room was really clean. Lots of things to see in the area. We came from London for the weekend and it was an amazing break. We will come back with pleasure. I think it's the best quality/price stay in the area.

Had Christmas lunch there. It was superb. The proprietors (Avish and AJ) along with their team, were dedicated in their task. Despite the difficult times, they did as much as they could to create a level of social distancing, as well as making everyone as comfortable as possible. And the food was excellent, and the musician very talented. Taking all into consideration, I don't think anyone could ask for more.

I have used the Abbey Hotel twice for a family occasions, both beinga 30th Birthday celebration for my Daughter and my Son recently I can honestly say that both have been a success due to the staff. The Manager and all below are a true asset to the Abbey Hotel, the manager and waitresses were very polite, helpful and keen to please and make the evening go as smoothly as possible. Would truly recommend and will continue to use the Abbey Hotel for future events. Thank you very much to all the staff at the Abbey Hotel.

If you are looking for a quieter place to stay then look no further. Set back from the road and plenty of parking on site. Pleasant staff, good food clean accommodation. Well appointed ground floor rooms. A short bus or car ride to Sheerness.

I Booked this hotel for 2 Nights with my friend who is elderly. My Daughter and son in law and grandchildren also had 2 rooms. The accommodation is very clean and satisfactory The Breakfast was Excellent!. The best part was the hospitality of the lovely AMAZING STAFF!. IF I could give this hotel 20 out of 10 I would!. I will be back again very soon!.

The room was reasonable but smelt of cigarettes and very basic. The wall between the adjoining rooms are very thin and because of how the TVs are positioned the neighboring room has theirs right by the head of your bed. Was fine for a quick overnight stay.
