Lovely hotel, friendly staff always willing to help. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from southend beach and Arcades. The added bonus of being much quieter at night than staying in one of the hotels closer to the beach/adventure island. Great location the royal shopping centre is 15 mins away so handy to grab shopping when you need it. Spacious room, clean and tidy.
We had a family room. The double bed had a slightly hard mattress & could of been a wider mattress; as not much room for two adults to get comfy in bed. This was only a minor inconvenience though and didnt affect our stay here. The sofa bed was comfortable for our son though. Breakfast included when booking room. Lovely cooked english breakfast and cereals/toast included too.
Bar in the hotel too so its great if you want a drink at night as you can go to bed after. Would definitely recommend to others 10/10 Kevin Butler 5/5 2 weeks ago on Google Excellent b&b. The breakfast was excellent and room was comfortable and added a fan when I requested it.

Price including a substantial breakfast was very good. We stayed in a family room as we had tickets for the Cliffs Pavilion theatre which was just a 5 minute walk away. Comfy bed and great ensuite.
Lovely big shower and immaculately clean as is the rest of the hotel. Good breakfast and although.
