For a budget hotel, it's understandable that maybe the room is small, walls are a bit thin and old, bed isn't the coziest, bathroom is small etc. I can accept this 100%. But corners shouldn't be cut on HYGIENE. We had a basement room and found other human hairs in the bedding and on pillows, as well as our towels. Most disturbing of all, we found a nail clipping in our bed.

One of my towels had a strange yellow stain on it. Was replaced when asked, but still gross to find in the first place. There were also these small fly-moth-like bugs that were flying around the room. One of which had been squished onto the wall by someone before us, and the cleaning ladies didn't bother to remove it. The bathroom had some mold in some of the areas where the silicone waterproofing in corners had worn away. Staff were very friendly, but hygiene was awful, at least in the basement room it was.

The room we had was in the basement, increddibley narrow and they put 2 small beds for 3 people to use. The room smelled bad and it was cracks in the wallpaper and some type of insects flying around. The staff was nice, we never tried the breakfast. It was a quick walk to the underground station Earl Court, wich was nice, but we will never stay at this hotel again.

Just spoke with the most DISGUSTING lady on reception. Definitely not the customer service you want when you ask for the manager and they put the phone down because reception is 'too busy' I think your staff definitely need training

The hotel is very well located with long short walk to Earl's Court station. On arrival, the person in the reception was very friendly and welcoming. As we arrived quite early to do a check-in, we ask the receptionist if they could keep our luggage until we could check in so we didn't have to travel all over London with a suitcase. On the front desk they even had Cadbury's creme eggs!

We might have got one or two.oops! The rooms are really nice, modern and quite quirky, we had the twin room, which was small, but not too small to get claustrophobic. The decor is great and feels modern, the beds were very comfortable and we had a great sleep, no loud guests and very quiet on the street. The toilet is very sophisticated, we particularly loved the shower!

The breakfast was great with an English/ continental buffet choice. The staff are very sweet and welcoming and very polite. Great wifi as well. Looking forward to another London gateway to come back to this hotel, definitely felt that I got more for the convenient and affordable price.

Re-editing this due to star rating that it said. I believe this was a 4 star experience for what you pay for. I wished in my experience they included things like disposable cups or hand gel. The beds were fresh, but not like cups or bathroom particularly. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and flexible with me. Most likely will stay here frequently since for what you pay for and that its next to a tube that goes to central london makes it very sweet.

The customer service always makes the difference. If you have s*** staff it makes the experience awful. Lots of smiles things like that. You feel welcomed as if its your home. Which it is for a night or two lol. But you know what i mean. No judgements were received and very welcoming.

I give this hotel five stars for the simple reason that Bobby and the other receptionist made myself and my three children feel very safe and welcomed. The rooms are basic but functional. The location is superb for getting around central London. For a budget hotel it offers everything you may need for a family for example - chemists, supermarkets, restaurants, shops, tube stations, bus stops, National galleries, Albert hall etc all in walking distance. Stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions now and I have to say each of my visits have been very disappointing. The staff have always been pleasant to speak to but the standards, even for a budget hotel fall way below par. I have stayed in 3 different rooms, twice in the basement and once on the top floor and on all occasions I've struggled to use the wifi service.

On my most recent visit the room was cramped and very dated, the remote control for TV didn't work and neither did the fan. The rooms have been divided up using thin partition walls resulting in a lack of privacy and you can hear people in the adjacent rooms very clearly. A lot of this can be forgiven when you consider the price and how cheap it is yet cleanliness is where you draw the line.

My shower got blocked for the full 3 days of my visit and when I pulled out the drain from the base of the shower it was full of hair and grime and looked like it had not been cleaned for years. As a result my shower was left 2 inches deep of someone else's dirty hair water. I was offered another room to shower in but by this point it was sadly too late and the problem was never fixed.

I'm happy to stay at a budget hotel where perhaps facilities and amenities are lacking but cleanliness, regardless of the price, should never be an issue. The hotel needs cleaning and modernising and I feel you can find much better budget hotels for the same price with higher standards.

Location is perfect, its 5 minutes walk away from Earl's Court Station, its traditional old British building. Reception is open 24 hours but the main gate is closing around 11pm so you have to ring the door. My room was very small but its normal it depends how much you pay.

If someone could show me a worse hotel than this, I'll give you a tenner. At start, the hotel lift was extremely old and cranky. The moment I entered the room, I found it to be extremely congested. On top of this, they have these rules, see the attached pic. The noise from the roads very extremely bad, so didn't get a good night's sleep. Internet wasn't even available there, literally no internet.

And finally, when I went for a breakfast, I couldn't find anything that's vegetarian. Extremely dissatisfied. I paid for two nights, but I left the hotel in a single night and didn't come back. I tried getting a refund, but no luck.

The bedroom was too small and the WC as well. The shower looked old and dirty and the water was either too hot or too cold, there was no mid- temperature position. The breaksfast was good and enough food. It is true that the price you pay is very low and affordable. Still, it needs lots of improvements and higher standard quality.

This hotel was exactly what I needed it to be - clean, convenient for local transport and friendly. The room was small but perfectly serviceable, and the bathroom and linen was incredibly clean. Staff were really welcoming despite my late check in times. The breakfast wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I would use again.

2 min walking distance from Earl's court tube station. 2 min from several restaurants, grocery store. Very convenient to get to all the touristy places.no frills place. Decent room and breakfast. Better get your own body wash.

Stayed here for 3 nights. For the amount paid the room was acceptable; with a comfortable bed, reasonable size room, nice and good sized bathroom, everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and table service. Some variety would have been nice but for what we paid I will not complain. There was a deposit for remote controls for the TV and AC, I found it strange but OK. Basically if you are visiting London and need a place to rest your head while you explore the city during the day, this hotel is a good choice.

A budget hotel in Cromwell Road. It is located in the main central part of London. Generally booked. Rooms are pretty small but all basic services are available. Very good eating options are available nearby and the hotel only serves breakfast. Other meals cannot be ordered. WiFi is free and 24 hrs tea and coffee are available in the dining area on self service.

It's totally shit! Utterly different from the picture on their advertisement, the room is small and narrow, nothing but bed in the room! And it's costs 140 per night! Gosh! And Indian oil smelling everywhere. and the reception India girl is so bad temper! Rubbish!

This small boutique hotel is located 1-2 blocks away from Earl's Cout Tube Station. We received a garden view room which looked over a cute english style court yard. A full English breakfast was included. It was yummy! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were even able to book a few of our tours through them. If you walk to Earls court station be sure to stop by Perry's cafe for a bite to eat or a coffee drink.

I chose this hotel purely because of the price. I paid about 30 a night for a room, when I was passing through London briefly. It is a comfortable but basic hotel. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are basic, but everything is quite clean. Its got a good location, being close to Earl's Court, and if you just need a cheap room, its ideal. The breakfast is also very basic, a continental, with a limited range of fruits, yoghurts, breads and jams. Personally, I didn't spend much time in my hotel room when I was in London that time, and I never have spent much time in one, any time I've stayed in a hotel in London, as London itself has plenty to keep you busy. Hence, for the value for money and location (especially to Earl's Court), you can't go far wrong picking this hotel for a short stay.
