Village Limits Motel

We had a wonderful stay here, our room was very comfy and well equipped, spotlessly clean and the bed was MASSIVE! Food and drinks were great, and the full English breakfast was as good, if not better, than most I've paid for elsewhere in the past! David, Leigh and the team have done a fantastic job on the place!

Stayed in one of the rooms. Massively exceeded my expectations! The bed was divine. Exceptionally clean, lots of little touches to make your stay more comfortable. Had the breakfast hamper delivered to my room in the morning. Everything was delicious! Dined in the restaurant. The food was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough. 11 out of 10!

Called on the off chance for a meal, very warm reception and table found, staff were lovely and so was the food. What I really liked was the fact that the menu had grazing options and the main menu came with the option of two sizes which is great for people with smaller appetites, very rarely found with this choice, can't fault the place, will definitely be back, well done Village Limits.

Lovely pub situated on the North side of Woodhall Spa, plenty of room for parking with a nice outside seating area. They allow dogs and have accommodation with an easy walk into Woodhall. Lovely Staff and good Coffee.

We thought the decor was definitely not in keeping with the building and could be much better with a re-paint. The food was good but the wait for it was too long. We waited 50 minutes for burgers! They were third choice due to unavailability of other meals.

Well run with an excellent choice of food. Cheerful staff who put themselves out to ensure all is ok. Recently had a birthday meal there and was very impressed with the little touches that made the evening memorable.

What an absolutely fabulous experience today at Village limits at lunchtime. I had booked a table by phone and mentioned it was my elderly mothers birthday - asking for a table by window. When we arrived beautiful helium balloons, a fabulous welcome and delicious food with so much choice. Then we were totally surprised by the pictured beautiful home baked cake - candies and sang happy birthday when they brought it out.

What a lovely place to eat - they went over and above our expectations - the place is decorated tastefully and it is well worth a visit - - we will certainly be dining again - the steaks look delicious! A lovely place to stay too with lovely rooms - try it - thank you to everyone there - very much appreciated.

March2022 We booked a suite here for a getaway. Daughter in law recommended it to us. Then we seen that Village limits was on 4 in a bed. Wow it was above our expectations. Can not fault one bit of this lovely bed and breakfast. Rooms amazing and the food absolutely delicious. Owner's made you feel more than welcome nothing was to much trouble for them, even to a tea belly needing more tea bags. Definitely will be coming back.

Booked a table for Sunday roast after our dog walk round ostlars. We have never been even tho we are locals. very very happy with the service and the food was beautiful. Perfectly cooked beef. Nice and pink. Lovely veg and the gravy was amazing. Definitely be coming back with friends next time. Nicely decorated. Is bit orange but I liked it. Not many rums on offer sadly but lots of gin for the ladies. Price was good too. Good work guys

I cannot speak for the motel side, but the restaurant has certainly gone down hill since the original owners moved on. Gone is the tasteful conservative decor, and personal service is no more, making way for what looks more like an up market cafe with a now laminate menu. But its not the above that prompts my two stars, the food has not got the quality appeal that it once had, and as for the service, well.expect a long wait! Disappointed now for the second time.

It's our second time here and both times we have absolutely loved the food. Today we visited and didn't realise it was just roast dinners but actually we loved that! The food was superb, served with a huge plate of vegetables for us to share and jugs of gravy for all. Would recommend to everyone! Lovely little place to visit with families and will Definitely be back again when we are next here.

First of all, I very rarely write reviews good or bad, but my experience when we held a celebration of my Mum's life at The Village Limits on 1st November 2021, was exceptional and stress free. The food in taste and presentation was fantastic, great customer service from the greeting and severing of drinks when we first arrived until everyone had left, on a very difficult day for us, Leigh was absolutely superb and nothing was too much trouble. 100% definitely would recommend

Had to delete my old 5 star review to update it as couldn't not say how grateful we are for coming tonight. Thank you for yet another amazing meal. The food is always spot on and you are always greeted with. such a warm welcome. We just love coming and thank you so much for our presents for the arrival of our son. Couldn't recommend you enough, look forward to seeing you again soon 100000% recommend. xxx

We have just had a family lunch here, first time of trying. All very impressed, the service was pleasant, food excellent, drinks selection very good, nice surroundings and, to cap it all, dogs are welcome. I would definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you.

Staying in the area we phoned last minute and they were able to accommodate a party of 5 plus our dog. what can I say. the staff from the get go were super friendly, nothing seemed to much for them. the food. was second to none! It's been a long time since I've visited a pub and had food which tasted so fresh and well cooked! The menu has a great range of options including a good choice for vegetarian and vegan puddings:.

Even my fussy children loved their food! The prices were very reasonable for the affluent area too! Overall we would highly recommend this pub to anyone in the area or travelling through like we did! Thank you again we loved our visit

Only visited the pub for a meal as we were staying next door at WoodhallCountry Park. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. It was so good we went back the next night. Dog friendly. Booking recommended.

Recently visited for lunch and then Sunday lunch. All meals we fantastic and great value for money. Staff were welcoming and venue was very warm and comfortable. Will definitely again soon

Had our first Sunday lunch here recently. The food was fabulous. Large portions and lots of taste. Well worth a visit.

We have been here a few times eating and drinking whilst staying in lodges nearby. Always fantastic, food was amazing and the staff were too. However very different experience last Friday when I called to try to make a reservation for next year. We had always promised to stay here at some point so thought would give them a try. First call a man answered and when I asked to check availability for July next year he asked could I hold - I held for a while - then the phone went dead.

Second call - the phone was answered and immediately put down. Thinking there must be an issue with the phones I called a third time. Third call - Same man answered and when I said I think we got cut off no apology he just said what dates is it for. I said I wanted to check availability for July 8th and 9th next year he abruptly said that's the 40's weekend we haven't released dates yet.

So I asked when they may be releasing dates. He said 'We have a list of regulars who get first choice' then silence So I just said 'OK then' and hung up. My thoughts on this: If you do not want people to call for availability then perhaps change your advertisement which clearly tells you to call to check for availability maybe? Also it would be good customer service to perhaps apologise to people that you are unable to accommodate their requests? then possibly they may try you again another time?

And maybe it would be good practice to apologise to someone who had tried three times to contact you due to the amount of times that you had lost their calls - unless, as I imagine you simply hung up on them? I hope your repeat clientele keep you going through the coming months, years as by the standard of customer service I experienced from you - you will not be getting future 'repeat customers' So very disappointed.

(Review is for Accommodation - unfortunately did not eat here) Hugely impressed with the Village Limits accommodation. Clean, tidy, spacious, and reasonably priced their small suites are fantastic. Our suite was equipped with a complementary coffee machine, mini fridge loaded with complementary beverages - including wine, a large wide screen TV, air conditioning, spacious bathroom with a good shower, and a huge bedroom separate to the lounge area. Will certainly stay here again if needing accommodation in the area. Absolutely fantastic and very much value for money.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, your hotel and restaurant is fantastic! You care so much for your customers it's reflected in the standard of both your accommodation and food. Attended last night for our daughters 9th Birthday. The service was excellent from start to finish. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Extremely organised and catered for 16 of us. The food was amazing and very. reasonably price. Nothing was too much for the staff and they even gave the birthday girl a present! They accommodated the young children and everyone made us all feel very welcome. Thank you

Had a fantastic meal at Village Limits, we were there with our dog which was made very welcome by staff and customers alike. It was a lovely environment with such a friendly feel, would recommend the pub and definitely plan to return.

Returned after not having visited for 2 years not realizing that it had changed hands and the menu was much more 'basic'. We were a little disappointed as we were not expecting pub food but the menu doesn't do the food justice. Fresh locally sourced produce that is cooked to order, very good portions and well presented, Proper gastro pub food Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, excellent service. Layout and decor just needed a little more cohesion as it felt a little cold and lacked atmosphere but the food more than made up for it. Will definitely return when we are next in the area.

We stayed for two nights last week. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Especially pleased with the air con as it was a very warm week. Breakfasts and evening meal were excellent. The five staff members we met were all super friendly and very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend. Loved it.

Enjoyed a family Lunch at Village limits which is next to where we are staying. We all enjoyed our food and staff were absolutely Lovely, so pleasant. Children's portions were a really good size too, love how they are just smaller adult choices and.not just the boring chicken nuggets or fish fingers that you get on a lot of children's menus. I'm sure we will be back again when we are next here. Thank you =
