The Carre Arms Hotel

Had a lovely lunch. The hotel has a lovely conservatory full if botanical delights sadly not open when I visited.

Very nice place to stay lovely chilled bar food is fantastic would stay here away great Continental Breakfast staff are excellent Very obliging Even offered to carry my wife's bags up the stairs

The owners are very friendly and so are the staff, lively and lovely atmosphere in this place. Food is very good too.

All staff were professional, efficient and welcoming. The atmosphere and decor are amazing. The room was quiet and comfortable. The food was delicious.

We had our wedding here a few days ago, Lisa and her team were amazing, Then venue was stunning, the rooms warm and spacious. The food was excellent, but above all, the staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. I would also like to give a special mention to Lisa's husband Mick, his impromptu photography skills were fantastic, it was lovely getting to know you all. I would highly recommend The Carre Arms Hotel for any venue you wish to hold.

We held our wedding ceremony in The Carre arms recently and were overwhelmed with how welcoming the staff were and again overwhelmed with the attention to detail displayed by Lisa and her team. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they were unbelievably accommodating and helpful and made our whole experience extremely joyful and hassle free. Highly recommended.

Went along for Sunday lunch today - the food was delicious, all of the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. We will certainly be going back again! Highly recommended.

Had an excellent lunch here today, was like stepping back in time, food was tasty and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend the liver and mushroom stroganoff, very tasty

The place has got more plastic around the bar than a bank. Plus staff wearing masks. Felt like I was part of some sort of experiment. Very strange. However staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone enjoying looking at people through perspec!

I've just had a pint outside after a nice long walk and when I went to use the toilet I was told it was for customers only. I explained I was having a beer outside with a friend and I was asked "are you sure?" How utterly rude because I then had to argue my situation. It was clear that my walking attire was putting him off. I had to argue that I was a customer.

I appreciate I had my walking gear on but I had to walk back out without using the toilet because he continued to be passive aggressive! I went back and asked for another pint. No apologies at all. I then went to the toilet and he smirked at me. Unless you're dressed to the nines and not in walking gear I would give this place a wide birth.

Fantastic place, such a warm and friendly reception and throughout my stay from the family who own/run it. Excellent service, amazing food, great atmosphere and nothing to much trouble. Certainly would recommend a stopover here! Thanks for making us so welcome!

We have just had the most perfect wedding here. Lisa and all her staff have gone above and beyond in everything, amazing venue, outstanding food, super comfortable accommodation. All our guests at the wedding have gone away with nothing but superb things to say about the weekend. Thank you to everyone at the Carre Arms for making our special day extraordinary and amazing.

A very warm welcome, staff were very helpful. Our room was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Food was superb, all tasted home-cooked, and a wide variety on the menu. We dined in the dining room the first evening and were part of a wedding group the following day. Both meals were fantastic, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great place. Food is superb, proper home cooked meals, good sized portions. Rooms clean. Service is great. Staff/owners very pleasant and nothing ever seems to be a problem. I travel all over the East & West Midlands throughout the month and always stay at the same places (three or four different spots) the Carre Arms is always a firm favourite.
