Absolutely charming bed and breakfast! Located in the beautiful countryside (with cute llamas nearby) and great restaurants in the area - we went to a pub down the road called The Lighthouse. Service was wonderful and our room provided everything we could ask for. Our only complaint was the bed - it was awful. The springs stuck out and made both our backs so so sore. We can't speak on behalf of all the rooms, but the Blue Room needs a new bed! Loved our brief stay! And we hope to be back again soon!

I'm 48 female stayed for one night. Got upgraded to a superior room no.1 which was nice. Location is a very quiet spot nice garden. Great for castle Kennedy and lovely local beach, also close to Port Patrick. The design is a bit of a mismatch perhaps some upgraded parts and others not but it was very clean and a nice welcome at the end of a day hiking.
Bathroom lovely and new had a hot tub which I appreciated a long soak in after walking and I even opened up the window fully to gaze out at the sky whilst in the bath! Bed was very comfortable and so what more could I ask for. Breakfast was lovely and generous. I paid 60 so I am very happy with my stay. Thank you.

We are totally confused and Dissappointed in this apparently 4 star Country House Hotel.(Sign on front door entrance), or is it really just a 3 star bed and breakfast pretending to be something it isn't.? Arrived here yesterday for a one night stay as a birthday treat. Told on arrival there was no bar facilities, and advised it wouldn't be opening, ( ALL staff leave building at 8pm).
No food etc either. Pictures on various websites would lead you to believe this is a Country House Hotel with a welcoming bar and roaring fires to sit and enjoy a drink in. We tried to cancel our booking, that wasn't allowed.not an option. Eventually after insisting we spoke to manager? who was off site. Adrian, who was going to come to speak to us at the premises, we waited 10 minutes, he then decided just to speak to us on the reception phone.
After a long conversation with Adrian (who comes over as arrogant and rude), he wouldn't actually listen or take in our complaints), he offered us a room at sister hotel The Waterfront in Port Patrick. We had been told ten minutes earlier sister hotels were fully booked, we had no other option, that or go home. He promised us a Family room with ensuite, we were advised that their kitchens were closed at this hotel and we would also have to have breakfast at another of their hotels, The Harbour House hotel, which we have stayed at and enjoyed before.
On arrival at Waterfront, we were shown to a VERY basic double room with a small room off it with single bed in it. Bedding on our double bed was dirty and not up to standard. By this time we didn't relish the drive home and losing our money, absolutely no refund. My whole birthday treat stay at a so called "Country House Hotel" was ruined. Be very careful when booking at Torrs Warren, various pictures on various websites lead you to believe there is more there than there "Actually" is.
I love visiting this area, and have been for many years, but I am afraid we will not be returning anytime soon. Please note. Covid restrictions excuses etc, it should not be paying customers who suffer. Extremely Dissappointed.

Stayed for 3 nights for a work trip. Old Manor House with lots of character and charm. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. No dinner service when I was there but some nice restaurants nearby. Parking at thr back of the hotel and lots of nice views. Only thing I would say was the bed was quite hard and the sink which is attached to the toilet is rather awkward to use.

Great stay, lovely well decorated spacious room, amazing roll top bath and walk in shower great water pressure, well ran friendly delicious breakfast, welcoming easy check in, porridge and patch the resident alpacas outside the window was a bonus, loads of beautiful places short drives to visit, we disnt have to ask for anything everything covered in the room.
And we had a private entrance which i love. Also inside the lounge was lovely n quirky little touches around too, very relaxing space. Definitely value for money im already trying to book in to go back in the spring.

The Tors Warren is a beautiful house in a stunning location, our room overlooked the pretty garden, it was extremely comfortable and well equipped, breakfast had everything you could want, and the staff were kind and helpful. Portpatrick on the nearby coast has lovely places to eat, I sincerely hope we get to visit again

A nice location and very comfortable accommodation (we had the attic flat which was perfect for our family) and a lovely breakfast. Only cloud on the horizon was that they had to shut the bar at 8 and had no on-site food (which meant it was shut when we drove back from dinner) but for a couple of days this worked. Shame they couldn't offer a delivery service from the partner restaurants, because the food there was excellent.

We have just returned from a 2 nights stay at the exceptional Torrs Warren Country House Hotel.what a gem of a place set in a beautiful and peaceful location. The decor is an added touch complementing the hotel.furthermore a special thankyou to the lovely staff, Joanne and Anne who made our stay that extra special, breakfast was lovely and beds very comfortable.we stayed in the attic room, only trouble after a few drinks I did whack my head a few times lol due to the low ceilings upon entering the room.definitely will be returning.

On the plus side, hotel very clean, in a stunning area and our bedroom was beautiful. Lovely area in garden to sit though tables could do with parasols as it was very hot when we were there. Ideal base to stay if visiting Port Patrick or the botanical Gardens. Unfortunately no staff around after 8pm so unable to sit in lounge area or get a drink from the bar. Luckily weather was good so instead of having to spend evening in bedroom we were able to sit in the garden having had to drive to nearest town for a bottle of wine. Found it quite unwelcoming unfortunately, which is a shame. No one on reception in the morning to see you off and ask how your stay was.
