Drove all the way there following the signs, arrived there and wasn't open and no signage as to what hours they open. There was cars outside but no life about the place. Great views over the water to Ireland and various places in Scotland, very pretty surroundings.

Room was clean, and it's a unique facility, but the WiFi is deplorable, not enough speed to do work. The food was a bit over the top for us, we prefer more of a simple, farm to table meal, especially since we came to Scotland to get that. Husband hated the tiny tv. We've been in Scotland for 3 weeks, spent the most money the entire time on this accomodation and it kinda fell flat for us. Owners are nice, maybe it's just too posh for us.

An interesting spot for a coffee or bite to eat. Fascinating to look around both inside and outside. Why not have a walk along the coast and take a look at the new build house with a roof that looks a bit like a 70's little chef?

Wonderful service from the staff. We dropped in for lunch. However, hadn't considered it's remoteness. It is advisable to phone in advance and book, so they can prepare. The staff were more than happy to make something for us from what was available. The lunch was fantastic. It is a great location and such a wonderful building.

This was not a stay but we went with the intention of buying tea and a cake or shortbread, as available. We enquired at reception and were sent off to the empty dining room. We waited in vain for about 10 minutes but no-one came after which we left, very disappointed by the lack of service.

We did not stay at the hotel but we had cream tea instead The scones were really good and they have non dairy milk also plus they are dog friendly The service was very good and to address the previous points the road has been 'repaired' and you can see where the holes have been filled Don't get me wrong, we're not talking silky smooth asphalt but it's pretty good Recommended even just for the view

Only had a coffee. Great location. Road leading to hotel awful. If you have a small car check hotel is open first. Although location is still worth a visit.

Room basic but you are going for the experience of staying in a lighthouse keepers accommodation. The views are fantastic as is the food. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. Looking forward to a return visit.

After searching for a beautiful spot to have some lunch we found this Gem of a place. Sadly it was closed but the manager made us some sandwiches and drinks. We really did appreciate this. This place is amazing and full of history. Very much well worth the trip if not just to see the views.

I love quirky places to stay and this is one of the best. The new owners are clearly improving and working on the place and the food was fantastic. We were lucky to stay in the light house suite just outside the hotel but it has full facilities such as it's own kitchen and an amazing view.

Spent 3 wonderful nights at this really stunning hotel, from the the fist moment it lived up to all my expectations. The coastal walk (recommended by the really friendly staff ) was breath-taking and we came across great wildlife worth doing but not easy. We spent a hole day cycling around some of the most beautiful countryside I have seen for along time. This is one place I could not fault and would love to go back.

Had a 3 night stay at the wonderful corsewall lighthouse hotel. John & Helen, the hotel is an absolute credit to you, our stay with you was excellent in every way, the venue, the accommodation and food! Was out of this world. And to Michelle, Pam, Rachel, Megan Kirsty, chef's and the young trainee who was for her age, courteous, attentive and thoroughly professional we thank you so much for everything that you did for us. The way you all went out of your way to ensure we were completely looked after, we salute you all. And finally we will see you again soon for another wonderful adventure.

Nice view from the lighthouse but although the hotel was opened to the general public for coffee nobody came out to serve us. We left disappointed. The track to this area was extremely poor unless you were driving a 4x4 or a tank so we won't be rushing back there.

Gorgeous location, great staff, including the owner working quietly in the background, great shortbread, excellent food both dinner and breakfast. Delightful stay ( first time since first lockdown) a fabulous treat by my Daughter and her Husband. Loved watching the Irish Ferries sail past especially the two at 5 am. Will return. A special place!
