Lovely hotel, with wonderful staff and affordable rooms. The room we stayed in was small but clean and functional. The ladies serving brunch were nice, we had a tasty English breakfast. Both receptionists were kind and welcoming. The hotel is near a tube station and a Sainsbury's. The street isn't noisy. Would totally recommend this hotel!

It was my first time in England, and I was on a weekend trip with a couple of my friends while studying abroad. The service we received here was so friendly and personal. There is somebody available 24/7 in case you have a problem, and they genuinely seem interested in talking to their guests/ giving quality service. My friend and I stayed in a small cozy room with a nice shower and desk.

The place was clean and gorgeous. They gave me a true English experience. I am a US college student, so I was on a budget. They had an amazing breakfast included, as well as things like toast, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available to guests all the time. One morning when they realized I was in a rush, they provided me with a to-go cup for my coffee and tinfoil to wrap some of my breakfast in, so that I could eat it on the go.

They did not have AC, however, you can open the window and the evening breeze is just as good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in London. Good quality, good service, and good location.

Very Nice hotel, really nice lobby, lived in a family room with my friends, and the "second floor" was very practical. A nice balcony in a very cozy area. I recommend this hotel if you are on a budget, really good value.

Budget-friendly little hotel, conveniently located in Kensington. We stayed for one week. The rooms are small and the bathroom a bit dated but overall it was clean and absolutely fine for a city trip when you are out all of the time anyway and just come back for sleeping. The breakfast room was on a smaller side so sometimes it was a bit cramped but breakfast options were good, you could choose between (very hearty) english breakfast or an assortment of bread etc. with jam / cheese etc. There was always lots of cake, sweets, fruits etc. to grab as well and the staff (especially the elderly kitchen ladies) were always telling us to eat more;)

I stayed there with my students and we LOVED it! We got all the back-up we needed for our first stay in London - free city maps, day travelcard purchase advice, adapters, iron. you name it! Home atmosphere, friendly & helpful staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, nice-smelling sheets and towels. I highly recommend it & definitely plan to go back! THANK YOU, ST. SIMEON! :

This hotel was perfect for our family. The room had plenty of beds, a great breakfast, and was well located. It's so hard to find affordable accommodations in London for a family and St Simeon was perfect. Ivan at the front desk was really helpful; we looked forward to seeing him when we arrived in the evening.

It's a clean, spacious for London standards hotel within 3 minutes walk to subway station and walking distance to many attractions, points of interest, tour buses, shopping, casino, restaurants, etc. for any taste. We stayed with our 1.5 years old son and felt very safe and comfortable. The staff is very nice and hospitable, helpful and simply sweet, we felt like a family:- The breakfast was great: very delicious and diverse! We'll be back! Thanks to the team!

The location was great. It was close to an underground station, laundry mat and shops. The breakfast was great and we could have as much as we wanted. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

It's a very basic hotel with minimum level services, but it fits a tight budget. However, it is very clean which is more than you can say for some expensive hotels. Breakfast was also generous (cooked English breakfast) for the circumstances. If you adjust your expectations to the price, you can hardly do better if you want to stay in London's SW7 with great Tube and museum access. If you're a snob, don't even consider it.

If negative stars were an option, St. Simeon would surely be a candidate to receive them. Please, please, please do not stay here. Do not be seduced by a cheap rate in a nice part of town. You will be sad and disappointed. This "hotel" is basically a converted home that has seriously overestimated its charm and is depending on their location alone to attract guests.

We arrived weary after a long day of travel only to find no one at the front desk or even in ear shot. After finally being helped and shown to our room, we were horrified to find that our "two person" room was merely a converted closet of sorts and should never have been allowed to be zoned as anything else. The young man who showed us to our room told us that it was because we were checking in so late that we were given such a room.

We had called ahead to alert them of our late arrival and were assured we would have a 2 person accommodation. Two people and two suitcases filled the room so that we could barely move. The two beds were tiny, the one lamp had no shade on it and the bathroom had no hot water. The walls were so thin I could hear the conversation of those above us (and surprisingly, they weren't talking about how awful the hotel was!).

We left minutes after checking in to get out of the room and drink enough so that we would pass out upon return and not have to think about what a mess we had gotten ourselves into. There was complementary breakfast the next day that we did not check out, instead we checked out completely and moved to another hotel up the street that was slightly more expensive and well worth it. As I already stated - please do not stay here.
