From family celebrations to a quiet weekend away, we have rooms to suit all occasions. The main hall has seven individually designed rooms, all reflecting the historic nature of the building. With antique furniture and gorgeous bathrooms, they offer a delightful place to stay and unwind. Many of the rooms have four poster beds adding an air of romance and making an ideal wedding venue or honeymoon location. We also have a further seven rooms in the Mews. Converted from the original stable block, these rooms are adjacent to the main hall.

Poor food and decor, also when you walk in you are greeted with awards dating back 10 to 12 years ago and nothing since. Alarm bells are ringing surely, the staff are rude and I'm talking even the ones supposed to be in charge who are clueless. Avoid and no comebacks to the message as it's for all your future customers to see this if they do wish to visit.

Very disappointing that we had to cancel our stay due to the new variant and protect a high risk friend pending critical surgery and the hotel offered no gesture of goodwill but kept 600 when a member of staff advised us that they had refunded other people over the Christmas period. I understand the catering industry are having a tough time but I feel Thai is heartless and totally selfish.

We love this wonderfully relaxed atmosphere! Great friendly staff, ;(not that you know they were staff), casual style dress, ! Oh! Food traditional good English fayre, well presented & Suffolk Roast Pork, delicious! Very dog friendly with proper interesting walks with small livestock in paddocks! Sensibly priced menu tasty food & give it s look maybe stay overnight & enjoy a walk after breakfast in the wooded Suffolk countryside!

The place is well interconnected and fairly easy to visit. The food is tasty and fairly priced. The staff is also welcoming and attentive. Also clean! (Difficult to say for most of the places I visited) Big carpark available. Dogs are welcome I noticed. Works as a pub, restaurant, wedding venue (double check) and hotel. It is a calm place, not noisy at all.
Good open space for children. Tables are distributed very nicely giving everyone space. Little criticism to be read as opportunity would be: Timing waiting food is fairly long Menu could improve vegetable options adding a note next to dishes.
