We went today on 10th April 2022 for my wife's birthday. We had been previously and really enjoyed the Lamb. This time the only meat on the menu was pork or beef. I specifically asked if the the beef was tender and the Blonde waitress assured me it was. Unfortunately it was as tough as old boots. The waitress told me I was the only person to complain.
I was outraged. No offer was made and we had to pay The full bill. We won't ever be returning to The Bill Inn in Woolpit Which is a shame as the food previously was excellent but you only judge restaurants when issues like this arise. There customer service was absolutely great disgraceful.

We have yet again a fabulous experience at The Bull Inn in Woolpit. Food was exceptional and the service was top notch. When we have guests stay at ours we always book in and we are never disappointed. We asked to see the Chef to say a big Thank You but he was too busy to accept our thanks but that's cool. We appreciate his dedication to his craft. Thank you again for a lovely evening. Regards Eamonn Howe-Bull xx

We visited this restaurant/pub as a party of four for dinner. When first shown the menu I wasn't sure it would suit my special diet but after speaking to the waitress, who discussed my requirement with the chef, I was happy with my meal. We all acknowledged that we enjoyed our meal (a typical pub menu). The establishment is unusual in that the front is a typical local and rear is a smart restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Can't rate a zero or it would be! Worst meals we've had! 5 lots of meals inedible and so much "unavailable" on the menu - cut of steaks (specials) disgusting and rubbery, full of fat, chips greasier than a chip shop, garlic butter over meal just complete oil - meatball starter tough as bullets, hair in bread starter, ciabatta bread ridiculously hard and two people couldn't eat. Must've had about five mouthfuls of dinner each!
Wouldn't go again if it was free - don't understand how they're usually booked and people enjoy that food?! Better off 125 at McDonalds - save yourself time and money and don't bother
