From a standard, family or even Bridal Suite, each has all the facilities you would expect; en-suite bathrooms, hairdryers, beverage facilities, direct dial telephone, complimentary toiletries, television and of course, comfort. Our rooms have shaver points, room calls and are all fully double glazed and central heated. We also offer guests free use of out superb leisure facilities and provide room service so that you can truly enjoy your break and feel pampered.

Basic hotel rooms beyond public areas. My bathroom smells of mould. Could live with this if service is OK. However. manager suggested to me that I avoid the rush for evening meal as the hotel is unusually busy due to influx of workers for biomass plant but not to worry, he's on duty and he would look after me. Came down at 20:35 to be told by the same manager the kitchen is closed.
He then proceeded to tell me how this was my fault, without apology or even acknowledgement he could have made the error. His solution: get a takeaway. Shame as the location is convenient for road networks.

The hotel is a character property with a relatively modern extension to rear of the building. The car park is an ample size and free for patrons. Rooms appear to be mainly situated on the first floor, with stair only access. The room was styled in a similar way to a budget chain hotel. The room itself was quiet, clean and comfortable. There is a modern restaurant and bar on the ground serving lovely food. All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Original hotel booked weeks prior was closed due to no biomass fuel so moved to here (at same cost). Firstly, this is no equal in terms of standard. Room was basic to say the least, bathroom poor standard with nightmare shower controlled be mixer tap. Restaurant is better furnished and serviced with varied menu for evening meals and breakfast. Food was very good which is a slight redeeming plus.
My colleague was booked in on the same night and paid 90/night whereas my original advanced booking was 120? This hotel needs a lot more work doing to demand 120/ night (stayed in Macdonald Hotel - Livingston the previous night for 60, no comparison!).

Stayed overnight to break up a road trip. Room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. They were very accommodating when we missed our dinner booking because of traffic and even offered to find us a snack! Beds were comfortable, and there was a handy fan in the wardrobe to help cool the room in the crazy heat
