Grade B listed building this 18c. ( circa 1750 ) barn has undergone extensive alterations to become a fully licensed barn Restaurant. Whilst installing modern amenities, we have retained as many of the original features as possible. Seats 40 plus, has 18c. brickwork and part of the original workings of the mill. All have colour TV. central heating and tea/coffee making facilities.We have one chalet specially adapted for the disabled, and all our chalets are on the ground floor, providing easy access and parking space. We also have travel cots and high chairs available.

Extra guests 42.95 per person for meal and drinks package (46.95 in 2023 / 49.45 in 2024). Children 21.75 per person for meal and soft drinks package (23.95 in 2023 / 24.95 in 2024). 5 deposit required per extra guest (Maximum of 10 extra adult guests for the Table D'Hote menu). Additional guest meals / drinks package upgrades / evening buffets must be paid no less than 3 weeks before the date of your wedding. Any accommodation discount only applies to accommodation booked direct with The Mill Forge.

My daughter and her husband got married there last week and both he and she had a lovely day. The site itself is very well set out and well maintained. The rooms, although on the small side, were spotless. The staff were very friendly, efficient, always smiling, efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only slight issue that I had was that the bed was only a double and the shower cubicle was very small. As I am over 6 feet and very broad I cannot moan too much though! All told it was an excellent experience.

We have just returned from my daughters wedding at this venue and to say it was excellent isn't really doing it justice-it was brilliant. The staff are so friendly and efficient. The venue was first class, different, just what my daughter wanted. The accommodation again first class, clean and adequate room. And the little chapel was special. Thank you so much to all involved in making her day perfect.

Attended a family wedding, from start to finish it was amazing. Arrived early but we got our keys, lovely room over looking the fields, very clean and warm, layout was really good. Attended the wedding it was perfect, the ceremony was beautiful, we had the piper leading the happy couple out, fantastic photos, shame it was raining but didn't dampen the day.
The meal was fantastic for the wedding party, it has been a fantastic experience, I'd recommend a wedding at The Mill Forge any day 10/10 for making Crain and Amy's wedding day go without a hitch

The mill forge is the most amazing place to get married, we did this last year, and it was perfect.the staff and graham did a amazing job.nothing was to much trouble and the day was how we imagined plus more.we are hear for the weekend to celebrate are 1st year wedding anniversary.and we are having a lovely time.

I don't even know where to begin! The team, the location, the warmth, the accommodation, every aspect is so well curated. The venue itself is beautifully kept, ample parking for a good sized wedding party and the accommodation itself is truly fantastic. Bridal suites are beautiful, perfect for getting ready for a wedding. Cosy and comfortable with. amazing whirl pool baths and walk in showers.
The grounds are worth a good stroll around, very well kept and dozens of fantastic spots for intimate photos. The food is properly good, massive compliments to you're kitchen teams. Our wedding breakfast was fantastic. Breakfasts are incredible, some of the nicest eggs I've ever had in my life! Every.

Where do I start. What a beautiful place to get married. We got married here on 17th October 2021 and we were amazed with everything about the place from the beautiful grounds, intimate Chapel, The Rooms were. beautiful and clean and the bridal suites were stunning!,O utstanding Food and the organisation was absolutely faultless. The staff were excellent and made sure' us and our guests were comfortable from the minute I arrived.
We were also giving all the information about our ceremony to put us at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get married here. They went above and beyond to make our day magical and we can't thank everyone enough for making it happen. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much Mr & Mrs King

Well where do I start. We recently got married here and everything about The Mill Forge was just perfect! Almost magical. The venue, the surroundings, the staff, the food, the decor, the rooms, the chapel, all absolutely beautiful. You made our day so special and made everyone so relaxed. A day myself and my husband and family will never forget. And a special thanks to Margaret "Fae Troon" She was just brilliant with us all and put us all at ease. The pictures on their website do not do this amazing venue any justice. We had our wedding here and it was a faultless day. Staff, location, food, service, was just fantastic, the grounds for photographs are superb and the minister, photographer, cake maker, florist and a accommodation just made for such a memorable and wonderful day, would highly recommend this venue.

Absolutely amazing. Great location and a lovely, intimate venue. Just had our wedding ceremony at the Mill Forge on Monday. To Graham and your staff: thank you for giving an amazing wedding venue for Shannon and I. The food was superb and the staff in the restaurant were fantastic. Rooms are spotless and well presented.
