Kings Arms Hotel The beautiful red sandstone town of Lockerbie is a popular destination for visitors to Southern Scotland. Our historic inn, dating back to the 17th Century, offers you a warm welcome whether you're popping in for a quick pint, a bite to eat or a bed for the night. Our two bars, restaurant and large function room, have just had a major upgrade. Perfect for weddings, parties, anniversaries, birthdays, wakes and conferences/business meetings. We plan to continue our refurbishment programme by upgrading our eleven bedrooms over the next 12 months.

Went for my birthday, was a very nice place to stay, staff very helpful, rooms were good. Breakfast I found to be very greasy as only had omelette, but couldn't fault anything else

Friendly reception, excellent attention at breakfast. The room was very interesting, with the old beams and wonky walls, including the sloping floor. The decor was however very tired and in need of refurbishment, especially the bathroom (room 4)

I slipped whilst walking on the gravel on Wednesday and a nice girl with purple in her hair helped me up and retrieved my belongings whilst I died of shame. My stay was topped off with a clean room and a hot shower.

Mine was 50 a head for three courses with wine, beer and service so not cheap but very high quality British food, service and historic location. I do not think that the presentation or food could have been bettered even at the Nags Head or Bricklayers Arms. The Kings Arms now joins those two as my favourite local British locations for special occasions.

I have only even had a drink in the pub. This is a very traditional and authentic English pub with a very relaxed atmosphere. The architecture of this place is nothing short of amazing. The staff are very friendly and polite. This is a smaller pub but there are plenty of options for drinks on tap. I will most certainly be back here for a relaxing pint when I am next in the area.

Super comfortable room with an immaculate bathroom. The building it's self is amazing and calling it "full of character" doesn't do it the justice. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good (as vegans we only had the option of the smashed avocado and mushrooms but these were both really good) served with an Excel pot of coffee. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it
