Historical (built 1891) art deco styled hotel with a cool vibe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nightly bourbon tastings, live music on occasion. The attached Urban Farmer restaurant offers unbelievable steaks. Can't get a reservation? No problem. room service will bring it. Located in lower downtown near Union Station and one block off 16th mall st with free bus that takes you up and down the street for seval blocks of dining and shopping. Several locals who live in nearby mountains mention this as their choice hotel when staying downtown.

Beautiful building and location but that's about all you are paying for. Staff are unfriendly and uninterested in being helpful. Our room had black mold in the shower. When we had a family emergency in the middle of the night they couldn't be bothered to put calls through to the room, or check to see if anyone was in the room and instead reported to everyone that my husband was missing, adding greatly to the general anxiety and trauma of the night.

About his downtown in Denver so you can get. Great location as it's close to the train station and most of the hot restaurants and bars in the area. It's definitely has a historic old-timey feel and the staff was very friendly.

Beautiful and historic hotel with great amenities! The nightly whisky tasting was superb and the Urban Farmer restaurant is excellent! The Oxford is within walking distance of many downtown restaurants and bars. The staff is excellent and very friendly! Overall a great place to stay!

Fantastic hotel, wonderful people and great service. I've stayed at the Oxford a number of times over the past year due to work being done on my condo. It ended up being my home away from home, and everyone made me feel so comfortable and welcome during what was a fairly challenging time for me. Savannah and her team are so sweet, caring, knowledgable, and professional. The Oxford is my first and only choice when looking for a hotel in downtown Denver. Thank you, everyone!

Beautiful hotel! The room was very comfortable and we had easy walking access to all of the hot spots downtown. I would have given this 5 stars except for the fact that the staff asked us multiple times when coming to grab our keys if we were Door dash food delivery people. We are on vacation and dressed casually. Open ended questions such as: 'what can I help you with?' would have gone a long way versus assuming we were not guests.

Great location, walking distance to pretty much anywhere. They also offer a Tesla driver who will drive you within a 2 mile radius, which was great. The only real issue was the room being a little hot during the day. We spent much of our time outside of the room so this wasn't a big deal.

The price they give you for the room does not include the amenities and whiskey you will mandatory pay when you check out. The bourbon whisky they offer you at the reception is mandatory charged in you bill. As well as the amenities weather you use them or not. It would be nice if one was given notice while checking in. Watch out

Last night was our first stay at The Oxford and definitely won't be the last! When we checked in and the staff learned it was my birthday they upgraded our room for free! So sweet of them to do that! The room was so nice and roomy with lots of big windows! The bed was super comfy too! All of the employees we met were so friendly! Thank you so much for a great experience!

Absolutely phenomenal service - Sara Adelaide in particular is such a gem - so personable and sincere - she really made us feel so at home at the hotel. I will absolutely come back to this hotel when I am in Denver next and I hope Sara Adelaide gets a promotion in the meantime :

This hotel has charm, class, and great staff. It is in a fantastic location near the train station and a two blocks from the Market street mall. The staff could not have been nicer.

We cannot stop thinking about how amazing this hotel was for our wedding weekend. We stayed Thursday-Monday and could not have gone better. The winter decor was one thing but the service was also top notch. We will be back for sure (maybe for our 1 year anniversary!)

Super convenient if you're flying into Denver. You can take the train from the airport to union station and the hotel isn't even a block away. Very unique atmosphere with excellent coffee in the morning. Loved it.

Room was wonderful but be careful of the fine print when booking a package-there's fine print about charges not included in the room rate. The confirmation doesn't reflect anything but the room rate. Imagine getting hit with $130 more that the room rate. Very disappointed and won't go back.

This is the most lovely hotel in the City, period. I have stayed here multiple times and have found it to be undeniably welcoming and comfortable. It will always be in style long past the trendy and faux flashy that is available in the same price range. It's a piece of history that I get to be a part of. Worth every penny. Say hi to Flo the Canary for me when you stay there. She'll know.

Hotel-wise: I love the typewriter on the second floor, the free envelopes, the old hotel key system, and how the bathrooms match my family's bathroom in their early 1900s rectory. They have a whiskey barrel sharing program with Laws, and it tastes great. They have a real Remington bronze sculpture here. They have a FINCH THAT SINGS IN THE MORNING.

They have a nice, non-pretentions workout room. THEY HAVE A SPA. From 5PM to 7PM, they have free whiskey tastings. And I've never been disappointed with their selection. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Colorado. I've been absolutely astonished with their customer service. If the price is no issue for you, I can't fathom why anyone would choose any other hotel than this one. Spooky-wise, This is the only place I got for real haunted at. I didn't even know it was a haunted hotel until I did research into it. If you're a single guy, do not go into room 316. Consider this fair warning.

Incredible stay here with my fiance! We were in town for when the Eagles beat the Broncos and were very pleased with the great service we received! Check out The Cruise Room! The hotel also offered free Tesla rides to anywhere we wanted to go within a 2 mile radius! The room itself was a bit smaller but that was to be expected in a hotel that is 130 years old. We loved our stay and would return!

All the staff here are awesome, friendly, and accommodating! The nightly bourbon tasting was excellent and fun. The room was great - our only complaint was that the air conditioner didn't really work that well, and seemed like it couldn't really get below above 70-75, despite it being set to the lowest setting at 60.

The ambiance and location are perfection! Came here for the giant old school claw-foot bath tubs and room service - was not disappointed! Bonus - the staff went above and beyond, Special thanks to Savannah for ensuring a great experience! Will certainly be back.

Don't forget to use . when booking your hotel. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :! This resort is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't regret it. Quaint hotel with history. They kept it nice and modern to an extent without sacrificing its history. Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great location in Downtown Denver.

I've never before written a review, but this hotel needs one. This is literally a dirty motel. The front desk first cancelled our reservation and didn't have anything ready when we arrived. They then put us in a cramped room that felt like a broom closet. The room smelled TERRIBLE, like made us nauseous terrible, the bedding was ragged and the towels were so dingy, worn out, and off white.

When we went to the desk to request to leave because my friend is pregnant and was literally sick from the smell, the front desk was extremely rude, and said all he could do was put us in a different room. Upstairs in a similar situation, there were the same exact problems. Even freezing with the windows open we can't get rid of the smell, the cleaning staff came in while we were in the room to set it up, and the front desk refuses to issue a refund for their terrible conditions. I highly do not recommend this hotel if you want a clean place to stay here in London.

The location is just excellent ( 2 min walk from the tube - very close to many good restaurants and bars). The service is acceptable and though nobody seems to be English in this place, they try to be helpful as much as they can. Rooms are terribly tiny and our triple room had 3 tiny beds. Breakfast is very basic but included in the very reasonable room charge. Stay in to sleep and have a shower and stay out to enjoy London!

Once I arrived here, I was greeted by a receptionist who had her earphones in and didn't even look up. The other fellow behind the desk was chatting on the phone for about 10 minutes before I started to walk out, and then he stopped to help me. And the only room he said would be available was almost 3 times that of most of the available rooms I had seen offered online. With poor service like that, I don't think that place is worth while for more than an emergency stay.
