The same spirit that inspired this remarkable reimagining, perhaps a complete reinvention, of an Okavango Delta safari. This is Xigera (pronounced 'kee-jera'), named for the Pied Kingfisher that makes its home amid the watery channels of Botswana's Moremi Game Reserve. Driven by our Founder and President Beatrice Tollman's lifelong affair with the world of hospitality, and celebrating her husband's signature flower, The Red Carnation Hotel Collection came to life.

We booked the afternoon tea. This place exceeded my expectations! Wonderful Julia arranged the ideal afternoon tea! She was polite, hospitable and very attentive especially for our little baby. Baby crowled everywhere and none were mind. The atmosphere here is an elegant cabinet. We took a lot of pictures. Julia also did a several ones for us. Nobody rushed us. We stayed there as much as we liked. Definitely recommend this place for afternoon tea if you like a small tea room with perfect service!

We spent great moments in the Stables bar of this marvelous hotel, where the walls themselves are imbued with history, with traditions. But it l would be just a beautiful decoration if it were not the staff - hospitable, highly professional and elegant. Thank you Steve for your warm and artistic welcome, Paolo for your generous hospitality, Angelo and Lillo for your magic cocktails I'll definitely be back and will recommend the place to my friends. Outstanding is the word I can think of. Amazing Victorian style hotel with 5 star hospitality. A couple of minor suggestions. Would be even better stay if bathrooms would have vent fan, room would have enough charging outlets mainly on both sides of bed and a microwave. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

Maybe one of the nicest stays I have ever had in a hotel. It started by me booking for our ten year anniversary which I reached out to them for. They provided an excellent service of chocolates, rose petals, Champaign, and flowers. I don't drink so I nixed the Champaign. They executed perfectly that night to a romantic evening. But upon arrival. you simply feel like royalty, like you are the only one staying there.
It was incredible that everyone knew our names, everyone wanted to help, everyone cared. I have never had that level of service. Breakfast was beautiful and amazing sitting on vintage furniture near our own fireplace! Just go here if you are staying in London, it's simply worth it!

An EXCELLENT stay in one of the most upscale areas of London. Great location, near nice restaurants and the hotel staff are super personable and friendly. The rooms are quaint and have character - apparently every room is different. The bar is open 24/7, and you can grab a drink there anytime. Just an all around wonderful place! I can't wait to go back!

Booked the Master Suite overlooking Kensington Palace & Garden. Lovely decor set over two floors with stunning views. Have also had afternoon tea or dined here a few times. You will not find anywhere that will welcome you as warmly or cater to your every need. Tom Fraser, the manager, provides exceptional service and has always looked after us with a level of care and detail that is second to none. The setting is simply divine and it really is a hidden gem for a million reasons.

What a fantastic afternoon tea! From the exquisite surroundings, the delicious food and the wonderful staff you can't ask for more in a unique afternoon tea.
