We used to come here almost every year when we stayed in London for a short break before COVID and it was honestly one of the best places I've ever stayed. The rooms are always tidy and perfect, the staff are welcoming and tell you everything you need to know. Not to mention that the location is great as it's really close to Hyde Park which holds the Christmas fair in the winter which we enjoyed, and it's close to high street Kensington which is never short of shops, restaurants and a tube station should you want a change. I'd like to say we'd love to come back but I already know we will!

IT IS CLOSED FOREVER : Antonio still the star of the show. It's been sold and it shows. No more cooked breakfast. Web site says about Tiger bar. "or a glass or two of wine at the end of the day" It's now a dry bar! Seriously? Still good location but it is in need of an update.

Ideally located for Kensington, Hyde park, Royal Albert Hall and The big museums. The room was clean but on the small side. They have an elevator which is tiny. Breakfast was quite adequate. Parking at the location can be problematic but it is a short walk to 2 tube stations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect for exploring the area or as like us, going to a show. Adjoining rooms are available too. We would stay there again.

Excellent service, quiet part of London but close to many sites such as Victoria and Albert museum, Kensington palace, Diana fountain and close to large park areas. Le Petit Sud restaurant good value approx 100m away. Room well appointed although ceiling fan didn't work yesterday being the hottest day on record. Breakfast basic continental but wholesome.

I stayed here for a weekend and found it to be a very pleasant hotel. The room was a good size, everything was clean and in order. The food was ok, just nothing special but it's about 10 minutes walk to the Albert Hall and a stone's throw from Kensington gardens which is perfect if you plan to get out and about to see the tourist sites of London on foot.

I stayed there from the 21st February to 24th February 2019. I was nervous as I haven't traveled out of my comfort zone Bognor Regis for years. I was immediately put at ease by lady Jane on the reception desk. She had an excellent sense of humour. All in all, both management and staff provided an excellent service with a human touch. They were very welcoming.

The breakfast was excellent and the lady cleaner or housekeeper? maintained our room to the highest level of standard with a human touch to it. The hotel itself was/is beautiful and I loved the art displayed. It is April now and still have very fond memories of my stay there. Especially when out of the blue a large Cavalry of horses passed by the hotel in the early morning. I could not believe my eyes. My sincere thanks for making us so welcome. Kind regards, Cornelia Southerton - Janssen.

I stayed here because I wanted a hotel close to Royal Albert Hall. Great neighborhood, not a great room! So tiny and cramped (it was only for me but I couldn't even open up my suitcases without taking up virtually all the free space in the room). No AC which isn't fun in July, my blinds were cracked and had been feebly repaired, the bathroom had been cleaned but looked dull and dingy. Very nice people working at the front desk. Breakfast is included which is a plus, but it was packed. I think they need a big renovation.

Comfortable hotel in nice location. Adequate Continental breakfast. Room was okay, but lighting was quite subdued, and in ours there was a rickety single glazed balcony window that shook in any wind.

Nice hotel near Kensington Palace, with short way to public transport. Clean rooms with comfortable bed. Plain breakfast, if you want serious breakfast like English breakfast you have to order it earlier. No bars around, so you have to go by bus or walk ~20min, most of them are open til 11pm.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice place to stay and very clean. Good information point in the hotel if needed. Very good start to the morning with continental breakfast. Free WiFi. Great destination in Kensington for shops, trains and bus routes. Will definitely love to return again.

So, I went into this knowing that the hotel star rating (not to be confused with Yelp Rating) was 3 stars. And I think this place is just so quaint and sweet and nostalgic. Every single staff member is genuine and friendly and will help you with whatever you need. The lovely British gent who worked the front desk (didn't catch his name) was so nice and mapped out my entire walk to catch the underground, and even told me which way was scenic, with pretty gardens, without me even asking. Kudos to you sir :).

We went the Launceston Place route he recommended and the streets and gardens were beautiful. Also, the hotel itself feels nostalgic. Check out the pic I posted and the street it's on- it's just lovely. Additionally, the hotel is extremely clean! My only small gripe is that we got an attic room- which no big deal, however, the ceilings are slanted on the left side of our room (where the outlets are, and where we charged our phones), and we bumped our heads goodness knows how many times.

Our room was super small too, but that honestly wasn't as big a deal as bumping our heads. Perhaps letting guests know about the attic style rooms with low and slanted ceilings would prevent a lot of painful head thumping;). Additionally, the elevator only worked going up, and only to the 3rd floor. Going down it didn't work at all. Elevators honestly aren't even a necessity for me but if you're going to have one it may as well be working. Further, I pulled out my credit card to pay with, and the bar area didn't have a credit card machine, so I had to pay for my one glass of wine at the front desk, as opposed to the bar where I was sitting.

And there was no way to leave a tip on the credit card slip. So travelers, ensure you have cash (in pounds if course), if you are going to tip the staff. Anyhow, beautiful street views, lovely and sincere people working there, and very clean and relaxed feel. I will be staying here again (just not on the 4th floor). I love the quaintness, scenery, authenticity, and friendly demeanor of the staff.

Perfectly nice hotel. Good value in that part of town. Clean tidy stylish. Room was good standard, a little wear and tear but clean and stylish. Continental breakfast was very good, nice selection and nice attentive staff. Reception to check in and check out were polite but lacked warmth/friendliness. But that's only a small point. We would stay there again for a good quality hotel and super convenience for Kensington, parks, Albert Hall etc.

We stayed with our 3-year old for a week, and we all got sick. The staff was unbelievably helpful and generous with us. Add to that the fantastic location, and I highly recommend this to anyone.

I stayed at the Royal Gardens during my last business trip, but this time around I ended up staying at the Kensington House Hotel due to how last minute my trip was and the cost. The staff are very nice & the ambiance is very cute/quaint. I really liked this hotel over Royal Gardens as it's not your typical hotel. The only con I would have to mention is that the wifi is very slow and sometimes, I had to flush the toilet 3 times. Overall though, I would book this hotel again over the Royal Gardens. It's very clean and it's as if I was home.

I was lucky enough to stay here when I was in town for biz last March. An absolutely sparkling clean gorgeous hotel with massive, comfy beds, flat screens, a small but useful gym, & Molton Brown toiletries. The staff was perfectly attentive and helpful and more than polite. I like the hidden bar in back of the lobby (with pricey but boozy drinks) and the art gracing the walls made this space feel particularly snazzy. Very, very conveniently located near the High Street Line. I'd happily stay here again when I'm in town. if the pocketbook allows.

The Tiger Bar which is located in Kensington House Hotel is the most ideal place to relax in after a hard day's work. Augmented by attentive and affable service, having a chilled glass of wine at the bar is well worth it. It's not that much more expensive than any other hotel-house red costing a fiver. They do have a well stocked bar and I suppose one of the benefits of being located in a posh hotel is the comfort of its surroundings and having a bevy of waiters at your beck and call. If I am going to meet any of my colleagues from work then we usually meet here because there is masses of room and the food in the restaurant is also good.
