Hotel Olympia

Absolutely amazing. The room's are tiny so you have plenty of time to connect with your partner. The room's are boiling hot all night so you don't have to worry about hypothermia. The bathrooms contain several types of bacteria/fungi (RECOMMENDED FOR FELLOW BIOLOGY STUDENTS). As a massive fan of egg on toast I was pleased to find that the bathroom smelt of its rotten counterpart at night (the staff have kindly placed the drain in the middle of the bathroom in case you accidentally defecate on the floor).

During your stay take the time to appreciate the local london wildlife - including but not limited to: ants, rats and bedbugs. If you hate social interaction (like me) dont worry - the staff refuse to correspond with any of their guests online or on the phone (especially if you want a refund). I would highly recommend this little gem in Kensington. We left with a lot more than we came in with!

Terrible room that was infested with ants. After arriving around midnight from a long day of travelling, we just wanted to relax and sleep. Unfortunately the room was totally unacceptable for anyone to stay in. Hundreds of ants, cigarette stains on the floor, stains on the bedsheets, unable to close the curtains - so no privacy, the smell. We had to go to another hotel in the rain at 1am, tired and upset, paying a lot for a last minute room. We still have not received a refund from the hotel after over a month of trying via Booking.com Avoid this hotel and Booking.com at all costs!

Wouldn't even give it one star. It was infested with flies, the window was broken, the bed sheets were dirty as well as the furniture. There was poo still not flushed from previous guests. The walls were stained with handprints of god knows what! We asked for another room but it was just as dirty maybe even more dirtier- it stank of smoke and sewage AND had cigarettes burn marks on the furniture.

We came in at correct check in time however after seeing the state of the rooms and equally dirty reception area, we asked for a refund and booked another hotel immediately. Even though we asked for a refund and were promised one, a year later we still have NO REFUND. Im all for a cheap hotel but the hotel lacked very very basic hygiene standards. We have photo evidence but our review got declined. I honestly don't understand how they are still open

AVOID! Budget price and great location that's all I can say positively about this place. Hygiene, the room on first glance was clean however it was really dusty everywhere, the bathroom STANK! of sewage and mold, found a sock that wasnt mine. The bed was just awful, the mattress caused me back problems and only provided with one pillow (ive seen steak thicker than the pillows I got) asked three times for another pillow and was told they dont have any extras?! Tv didnt work looked like it had fallen of the wall at some point.

The door to en suit kept hitting the bed everytime you open it, With walls that are paper thin so u can hear everything. Based on other reviews its seems to be that I had one of the better rooms. Overall its not worth the price and makes travelodge look like a 5 star hotel.

Genuinely one of the worst experiences in a hotel. We arrived and had made ourselves as comfortable as we could to then find an ants nest in the room we were staying. We obviously complained and were told there were no more rooms (not that I'd of wanted one after that) and we were basically left with two options, sleep rough in the streets or pay 140 for train tickets home the same night. Its been over a week since that now and nothing had been resolved by the hotel who are just ignoring my every message and call and avoiding the situation!

Not even stayed there but their ignorance is shockingly bad. Booked through booking.com but realised afterwards (and we are talking hours) I'd booked the wrong date. Booking.com tried several times, very kindly, to contact these people to get a refund for me. No reply. I tried many times. No reply. Emailed. No reply. So I'm going to get a solicitor involved. I wouldn't even rate them 1 star but unfortunately 1 star is the lowest. Stay away people

If you're looking for a cheap room near to the tube, this hotel has you covered. However, it offers nothing in terms of quality. Sloping steps up to the rooms, dirty paintwork, evidence of leaks on the ceiling and windows that do not prevent external noise. The mattress was really good though. The place needs some investment to avoid mostly negative reviews like this. Hopefully the construction work in evidence outside the building is a sign that there's a bright future for the place.

Room was dirty, over run with ants and roaches, had a cushion instead of pillow, asked for another pillow, didn't get one. Pillows were very thin. No kettle or tea/coffee facilities The windows were not double glazed so heard traffic all night the second night we was awoken by the people that worked there throwing laundry bags down the stairs and talking loudly at 0230

The room was clean to an acceptable standard.but some information not correct and needs to be updated. Staff friendly but very budget friendly. No coffee tea facilities available.as could not use kettle. Requested extra pillow unfortunately could not be given one. And room gets warm as heating on all night. No cups provided.no breakfast facilities.no house keeping available.seem to be limited to what is provided in rooms.but overall good stay.still expect higher standards as stated on website hotel still charge a rate for your stay.

Really not very good. Turned up to find the booked room was not ready (despite arriving at 3pm check in time). Given another room which was tiny and lacking in adequate resources. No tea-making facilities such as a kettle or drinking cups despite a basket of tea bags and sugar packets! Hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work and bathroom window wouldn't shut (which made the bathroom very cold).

Bathroom was also mouldy in the shower. I would not recommend the hotel for Muslims as the floor space was so small it would be almost impossible to pray. Overall, although it is a cheap price hotel, I'd say it was overpriced for what it offers.

The only good part about this hotel is the cheap price and location. But I didn't liked the hotel at all, the worst one. I'm just thankful that we had hot water in the shower haha but the place is really dirty, the smell is horrible

Absolutely disgusting place. The smell, the dirt, the people. Batroom smelled like sewage and a mouse ran over my foot. They also do not follow covid guidelines. None of the staff wears a mask and the man at the reception was coughing uncontrollably. We left 5 mins after seeing the room and had to go out and look for another hotel which eventually cost us much more.

They are not providing what they advertise. Both the owners and booking.com refused to refund us since the booking was non-refundable. I guess it doesn't matter that they advertise it falsely and give you somewhere that would get you infected for sure. You still have to pay.

Horrible place, dirty, smelly, haven't been cleaned properly in ages. Even reception looks more than weird. The worst hotel I ever stayed in, it was cheap but don't be fooled, pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Is ok to stay for few nights if you don't mind mouldy smell, traffic noise and old&tired decor. It doesn't deserve 3 star rating at all.

The room Was smelly and dirty, the carpet was filthy, there were stains on every wall, the wardrobe and chest of drawers were broken, there was mould all along the wall at the side of the bed. We had paid for 5 nights and stayed 1. Disgusting establishment.

Terrible service. Room was dirty the walls were mouldy the shower water stank constant smell of urine in the room. Non of the plugs worked the lights where broken and the bed light had wires on my bed. Terrible place to stay

Ok. It's not the best hotel I've stayed at. But you get what you pay for. Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights. It's a good location to central London. I didn't want to pay extortionate prices. And have a maid. I wanted somewhere I could sleep and shower. Staff are lovely and friendly. It is what it is. So, if you are looking for super budget accommodation. With zero frills for a few nights. Stay here. But, if you're wanting gold taps. Plush carpets. And room service. Don't.

Horrible. Where to start. The carpet was covered in dust, the mattress and sheets were dirty and not cleaned too. Worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. Unfortunately i came down with scabies, and the person who stayed there with me caught it too. Within the same week. Mites on the sheets. Please please please don't stay here if you value self respect and your health. Take your business elsewhere, (if on a budget try travelodge or a hotel with cleaning standards) avoid like the plague.

The Hotel Olympia has one quality going for it and its that its cheap. The bed didn't provide enough pillows for two people, the shelves were busted, the tolitries were bare bones, the sink floor and shower were dusty and dirty and worst of all the windows don't keep a single sound out (Not ideal if your a light sleeper). The staff were pleasant and even compliant with some requests but I'd honestly spend more money staying elsewhere next time.

Its not worth rating. Whatever it says on the website it is the total opposite. No helpful staff- we had to ask to put bin bags in our room. Outdated and dust filled carpet. Mattresses provided are not even worth for a poor person to sleep on. The spring can be felt on your back. The bed base are outdated and dusty and haven't been changed or used for over a decade.

The cheapest hotel in india are much more cleaner and service provided is much better. There is no such thing as room service. Only when you leave the room they will clean it then. (I doubt it that happens) All in all this hotel you come here if you are desperate for shelter and nothing else.

Please avoid this hotel at all costs. The lady staff are polite but don't understand basic English. They make mistakes with bookings and seem to say yes to everything without understanding. Also, the carpet was dirty, toilet was super smelly. My partner and I had to do all the cleaning Even worse be preaperd to do your own bedding and keep going to reception to get bedding from them.

This hotel too has no diversity in the staff they hire. It's really a shame. You'd only want to stay here if you have no other options and yes you will be disappointed. I have heard so much complaints from customers at the reception that uts quite normal now. Please AVOID this hotel.
