Our Newmarket room at The George Hotel is an ideal business venue for both conferences and meetings as well as functions and events. The room has the capacity to seat up to 70 guests theatre style, 40 boardroom and class room style and up to 110 for standing buffets and 60 guests for sit down meals.

Great hotel, really friendly staff with fantastic food, comfortable rooms and good location. Cannot find fault at all and will definitely stay again as from reception to restaurant everyone was so friendly and we were treated as vips. Both breakfast and evening meal were fantastic with a great choice, all freshly cooked. Room really comfortable and clean, shower was brilliant. Thanks to all at the hotel, see you again

The hotel and its staff are punching well above their official 3 star hotel rating. From the moment we arrived it was exceptional!, The attention to detail for our stay as well as my fathers 80th birthday party was just superb. The immaculate tidy rooms, comfy beds, clean and powerful shower and bathroom, and the amazing food, cocktails and service we received throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional.
I would like to give a special mention to Alistair the restaurant manager where nothing was too much trouble and he made my parents have one of the best birthday parties they have ever had at the age of 80 is nothing short of remarkable! But above all my dad had the best 80th birthday he could've ever imagined and for that I will always be thankful.

Lovely hotel set just outside of Norwich City centre in a quiet lane just off the A11. The Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel serve very nice food from a good menu with plenty of choice. The bar stocks a good choice of beers and ciders including some decent real ales at a reasonable price. A very good hotel to stay at if you are visiting Norwich.
