Beautiful location right on the shores of Loch craignish. Good access for a wheelchair unfortunately I didn't see a disabled toilet. Doesn't mean there isn't one. We sat in the dining room. Food was great. Nice portion sizes lovely and warm. They have had to put there prices up because of fuel costs and electrical prices. Yes we would go back

First room.no heating.leaking cistern.cold shower. Reported at 9am still not attended to at 4pm. A towel was offered to soak up water on toilet floor which we had been clearing all night. Eventually moved to another room which was a hassle considering only there for 2 nights. Manager said "not his fault " several times.well it wasn't mine either No compensation offered. Will not be back!

My husband and I stayed here as part of our trip around Scotland for our 10th Wedding Anniversary in early November. We booked two nights and wished we stayed longer. Our journey to the hotel was severely delayed by motorway accidents and the weather so we ended up arriving at the hotel very late. We rang ahead and explained the situation and the staff were amazing.
They arranged for soup and sandwiches to be put aside for us for when we eventually arrived. During our stay the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had lots of knowledge of local places to go and see. Our only disappointment is that we didn't book to be with them longer. This is a place that I will definitely return to.

Owner is a little bit of an odd bloke and his son kept playing jazz drums which kept me awake, not impressed. ordered a pint and they didnt even have any stella, owner must've drunk it all Bathroom was full of poo which was rather unpleasant. Restaurant was ok although i much preferred to eat at the nice little cafe across the road as the chef there is phenomenal. In general my stay was ok, probably won't be returning though

Staff were very disorganized and couldn't make up their minds if they were wearing face masks or not during our visit Service was extremely slow despite 4 staff for no more than 10 tables. Food was very disappointing and lacked presentation. Portion sizes small for price they were charging. Quality of customer service extremely poor and we felt like we were an inconvenience being there. Whole experience was very disappointing. Would definitely not return.

A fabulous overnight stay in the newly refurbished hotel. Staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. Lemon sole was the special of the day cooked beautifully and hubby had the Cullen skink. Beautiful setting complimented by the Scottish sunshine. Very tough providing top service with so few staff but a little kindness, patience and appreciation for all we've been through went a long way. Thanks to Nicola for making our stay so memorable. We'd love to return one day.

July 2 2021 Had dinner here as it is the only place open at night for food. My son ordered a chicken burger 13, frozen burger. Partner had fish and chips, swimming in oil, not much of a taste. I had a burger, again a frozen burger. I don't like to leave a bad review but it is what it is. The owner is missing a trick here, it could be a fantastic place. Get a chief in with a bit of knowledge and ambition who only wants to cook fresh handmade food. Goldmine. The staff were great.

Great last minute find! Clean modern room. Great dinner. Really enjoyable jam from local musicians in the bar. All in all well worth a visit! Friendly and engaging staff! Would have been four stars, but reduced to three down to the surly young woman serving breakfast who looked like she would have been happier anywhere else than there :-

Really nice location (looked like it was set up for a wedding the day we were there) and good staff but the food was sub par at best. The menu makes a deal of serving "fine Scottish fayre" but it's hard to see what's Scottish about prawn sandwiches on yesterday's supermarket bread, stuffed mushrooms (deep fried), Chilli Burgers or Chicken Pesto paniniis. Not bad if you're stopping for a pint but in terms of food, very disappointing indeed.
