Egerton House is a visually stunning and beautifully restored former trade warehouse situated on the south quay of Egerton Dock, on the eastern side of the Wirral Peninsula. Steeped in maritime history, this unique building is the only one of its kind remaining on the docklands today. It stands as a prominent feature of the Wirral docklands area and is arguably Wirral's most unique business location.
We are passionate about supporting Wirral's business community in as many ways as possible starting with our own customers, most of whom are small to medium sized businesses.

This is a review for afternoon tea, but after visiting I would definitely look into staying here! They have fabulous gluten free and vegan options. The gluten free scones were the best gluten free baked good we've ever tasted. Anywhere. The tea room is adorable, quaint and everything you want. The service is impeccable, you can book online, and I couldn't ask for anything else. The gluten and dairy filled offerings are great as well according to my son. :

We were really looking foreward to stay at this pretty hotel, but shortly after the booking we received an email from the property announcing additional "discretionary charges" that were not posted upfront. This appeared quite shady because who knows what else they would come up with. We found this to be very respectless towards the guests financial decisions.
Why not simply ask for a higher rate from the very beginning? Poor Brittania? This has never ever happened to us on our many trips to London. Well, it was not hard to find another splendid option in the city that was able to produce a transparent listing of all upcoming charges, which we will be more than happy to pay.

Really bad value for money! Extremely expensive for what you get. They pre charge 50 per night for accidentals and an additional 15 per day as an optional service charge which you have to ask if you want removed. The pillow and the bed were uncomfortable and the room was quite small. Breakfast could have been better.

5 STAR STAY FOR PEOPLE & POOCHES Beautiful jewel box hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge. Received a very warm welcome, plush room with baskets, towels and bowls for the 'kids'. Sumptuous Afternoon Tea with a fab Alice In Wonderland theme. Really kind, and attentive staff, making for a relaxing and elegant stay.

My wife, doggy and I went for afternoon tea and it was fabulous. Super friendly staff, the tea, sandwiches and cakes were divine and we just had an exceptional time. If you're looking for a dog friendly place to go and have afternoon for you and your partner or friends, you will absolutely love the Egerton House Hotel.

An excellent welcome, everything I mentioned on my guest preference form was done! The breakfast room, a dream for lovers of bling was awful! No atmosphere and indifferent service. I had the sense that the waitress wanted to get it right but didn't know how to. The answer is obvious: set up breakfast for those who want it at 38 which they did for me in the lounge. Food, tea, juice excellent. I shall go back. Just amazing staff and housekeeping. To be recommended! The

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location, especially if you want to be in Knightsbridge and close to the V&A, Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. The staff in this hotel are so friendly: everyone without exception was so nice and helpful at all times. It's a dog friendly hotel, but by no means overrun with dogs (we visited with our dog and she was the only one there).
We stayed in the Victoria & Albert Suite which was lovely and spacious with a small private outside terrace/sitting area. Without hesitation I would return to this hotel. Thanks for a great stay.
