Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as part of a group holiday. Service was fantastic, bed very comfy and setting beautiful. We had a great meal in the bar one evening too, fabulous steak and ale pie. It's a yes from me .

Nice room, good size, and good sized bathroom. Breakfast was really good, make sure you book including breakfast. All the staff we had dealings with were great. We ate in the bar and the menu isn't extensive but all the food we had was great. Nice selection of beers.

The hygiene standards are a disgrace. We paid over 300 for a signature suite for our wedding as we wanted a nice room where the photographer could take photos of people getting ready. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the lasts guests, there were hairs in the bath, the floor was dirty and the bin was full of used sanitary towels and toilet paper, the mini fridge was stocked with bottles of water but when we went to take a drink one was actually already opened and had been drank out of. Absolutely would not recommend.

The team absolutely made our stay. So warm and friendly, made a real fuss of our dog too (even with a welcome of some leftover roast beef!) The food was lovely, as was breakfast. Room was tidy and fairly clean. We liked the colors as it felt very peaceful and relaxing. This place is a gem for dogs as there are se lovely walks down to the river very close by.

The gym and pool are great and useful to have. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool, however the pool should be monitored by a member of staff especially when children are present. Absolutely would stay again.

The Inglewood Room was dated, not particularly clean for the price paid 280 for two nights (breakfast included) breakfast was cooked fine but if you are going to hot hold a lot of the items then atleast put as a self service buffet. 16 is way over priced for that breakfast. Staff were very friendly and probably made up for a lot of the minor problems I had experienced. Would stay again but not at that price point.

Staff so friendly, food average, cleanliness average (cobwebs in lamps)Everything else good standard. Wasn't overly excited about the green rooms. Pool was gorgeous and warm. Enjoyed the facilities. Had a great time

Hotel in progress of refurbishment, The room we were given was very small. And next to the gym, the first night we had to listen to the weights machine clunking and banging. The room next to us, people in and out of room door banging every time they came in or out till late at night. Then they were up from about 6.30 in the morning in and out. The bathroom was fair size, but when sat on toilet you either had hot radiator to warm your side or cold porceline of sink.

Very compact. Food over priced. Breakfast was 16.95 each. When I booked I was led to believe that Breakfast was included. It wasn't. But on the day before we came home, the manager asked if we were booking breakfast next morning, when I explained that the price was far to much, we were given a complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately we would Not be staying here again.

We went to use the swimming pool as a family. It was 30 with no time limit and towels included. Pool is really lovely, great for the kids too (there are specific kid times). There is also jacuzzi, steam room and sauna available in the main room. Only minor complaint is the water pressure in the showers, which is pitiful and getting soap out of hair took forever! Will still return.

Had dinner here yesterday it was absolutely awful. Food was cold and we were the first to order. I hate putting bad reviews but this is needed. I have to add the staff were lovely but the guy in the hoodie who appeared to be the manager although kept saying he wasn't working was extremely unhelpful. I live locally and have always liked this place but never again!

Amazing hotel close to Carlisle. Food is great with a wonderful atmosphere. Mike and Kyle are great hosts in the pub and will ensure a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for taking care of me during my stay.

Friendly staff and good drinks selection in the bar. The breakfast was nice and a choice of continental, fruit or hot cooked breakfast. Our last night was very busy and we waited 1 hour for our order. The room we were in over the bar was in need of redecorating although it was clean. Strong smell of fish in the corridors. I wonder if that was because of all the fish paintings on the walls.

Wonderful service from all staff I spoke too. Rayanne at the front of house was super helpful checking me in and even went out of her way to get the invoice sorted with a few amendments at check out. The room was really comfortable, lovely location and they had an EV charger type 2 on site which I could use and didn't have to pay extra for. Highly recommend the restaurants fish pie. Great experience overall. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and friendly get away.

It's a very charming hotel set in a little village. Your not in the middle of nowhere so for better or worse theirs no big view out into the field. The main receptionists are nice and easy to deal with. The Spa which was the main reason for the visit was nice and quite. The sauna was a fully heated good sauna and I sweated buckets in there. The steam room is a bit of a waste, it's doesn't steam up properly its just a bit rubbish and needs work.

The pool was great and the jacuzzi was top notch, it was nice and hot and the bubbles were good. I didn't eat their so I can't comment on the food situation aside from its a limited menu and not cheap. We stayed in one of their little cottages, away from the main hotel. The beds were lovely and comfortable and I slept a joy so no complaints, the bathroom etc was all good.

I has a slight issue with my room but the staff tried their best to sort it and were understanding and helpful. The hotel is a little dated and at some point needs a big redo, but most bathrooms are modern.

Great hotel in a lovely country location. Ideally situated not far from the M6 junction 42 and junction 43. Friendly staff, good food, well prepared rooms, comfy beds clean bathroom. Beautiful gardens. Only continental breakfast available but more than enough to eat. Having a fan in the room was a bonus in this exceptionally hot weather, which helped you to sleep at night.
