We stayed here for my Birthday and this was the second time. My wife made a real effort and payed and asked for balloons to be left out with special gifts in which not only was the room made up when we arrived they lost one of the gifts. Their is no room service on drinks and I also had to pay for water which is a first time for me. The breakfast in which was late also was cold and very expensive was not worth it. Unfortunately we would not be staying in this hotel again. Sorry they need to do better. Adam Upton

Impressed in so many ways with this hotel! Not only was it in a cute part of London with shops and restaurants all around, it was also close to the Tube. I felt I was in some Victorian movie with the eloquent room, ample space inside (hard to find in EU), and helpful, friendly staff. We even went down for champagne hour and met some lovely guests from other parts of the world and had a wonderful chat. Can't wait to stay at this hotel again when I am in London.

My husband and I visited the Draycott yesterday for afternoon tea and I would like to offer a rather mixed review about this. The drawing room where it was served was lovely, the gentleman attending to us was fab and the food was lovely and very generous however the drawing room leads onto a garden and there was some rather large issue with a family staying there that made our visit really uncomfortable and stressful.
The woman kept running in and out slamming doors and shouting and the it child was doing the same and kept coming to our table and staring at is. It was quite cold and as the room is small it was very disruptive and noisy and the relaxing ambience of afternoon tea was ruined by this. The staff didnt do anything either until we complained and it was too late. It's a shame as it's a lovely place to visit but it was tainted by this family's behaviour.

The Draycott Hotel is lovely. Their staff were friendly and helpful when needed, going the extra mile especially when I needed my clothes shipped back to me to the USA (I believe the staff member who did this for me is named Dino). Clean, air-conditioned, and charming, it's in a good but quiet location and reasonably close to buses/metro and several good restaurants. Definitely loved staying here and would book again if I get to London in the near future.

Lovely small old fashioned hotel, full of authenticity and soul. Excellent service and attentive staff. Comfortable bed and beautifully renovated bathroom. Super location in quiet street near Sloane Square. What a pleasure reading the paper by the chimeny looking at the garden. I did not want to leave!

A brief visit to London was made all the more enjoyable by the reception, staff and accommodation at the Draycott. Spacious bedrooms, private garden access from the ground floor suite, excellent room served breakfast, decently stocked honesty bar, pleasant and charming staff. Good price for well positioned and well appointed accommodation, ideal for enjoying London, Chelsea and knightsbridge, etc.
They took special effort to care for my mother who travelled with me, much appreciated. Having stayed in various hotels across Europe, this was a very pleasant experience in London.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Draycott last year and were absolutely thrilled with the service and standard of the hotel. We were booked into a standard room for the night but when we checked in, the room wasn't quite finished. The person who showed us to our room, quickly apologized and took us straight up to the hotel's largest suite, completely free of charge for any inconvenience we had suffered.
The room was magnificent. Larger than my entire apartment, the suite was themed around CS Lewis, with an enormous walk-in wardrobe and a small library in the lounge, with some early editions of his work. Apart from a large lounge, we were lucky enough to have a kitchen, bathroom and wet room, roof terrace and 4 poster bed bedroom. We were amazed. Though we completely lucked out, I would definitely recommend the hotel, regardless of the level of room. The service is impeccable and it feels like a traditional, aristocratic gentleman's house. Completely unlike any other hotel I have ever stayed in.
