The Cadogan Hotel is a prestigious Knightsbridge address; an SW1 hotel off London??s Sloane Square that weaves contemporary styling with classic Edwardian decadence. At The Cadogan, history comes alive. Consider room 118, scene of the arrest of Oscar Wilde, the Irish playwright. Or consider the Edward VII Suite, renamed to celebrate the future King of England??s liaisons with his close friend, the actress Lillie Langtry.

I visited Charleston place but did not stay in the hotel. The shops at Charleston place are always upscale and a feast for the eyes. At Christmas time Charleston place is very festive including tasteful Christmas decorations their version of snow in the courtyard. Very fun. Families with kids especially enjoyed it.

Great location, beautiful hotel. The room is comfortable. Here's the downside: * No coffee/tea maker in the room. There is a coffee shop across the street * When the AC turn on, irritating humming noice. Thank goodness I have ear buds. * One of the mattress on one side is sagging. The other bed is not that bad. For the price, I expect better amenities.

I stayed at the Belmond for two nights for a work-related event. Overall, it was excellent. Every service experience I had was attentive, polite, and prompt. The room was clean and beautiful - it had a real old world Charleston feel to it. Turndown service was done every evening by the time I returned to my room. The bed was extremely comfortable and you should consider requesting a room with a view of King Street.
I popped my window open one evening to listen to the sounds of a trumpet playing Christmas music in the street and the view was beautiful. My stay was a couple of weeks before Christmas and the hotel was decorated incredibly. It "snowed" each evening in the lobby, carol singers posted up outside, and there were lights and trees everywhere. Room service was prompt, the food was very good, and the restaurants and bars were great as well.
The location is excellent and convenient. An easy walk to anywhere you'd want to go in downtown Charleston. It was a treat to stay for work but I'll return on my own dime next time I'm in town for pleasure. My only wish was that there was a smart tv in the room. I travel a lot for work and it's an annoyance not to be able to access streaming services without using a laptop. This is true of a lot of places so it doesn't reduce my overall rating but it would be nice!

Beautiful hotel decorated impeccably for the holidays. Clean, comfortable room. Only complaints were spotty WiFi made it difficult to work and was told I had a $21 per person credit for food but upon checking out was told it was only for breakfast. We only got room service because of the credit. Nevertheless, beautiful hotel and enjoyed our stay.

We were due to travel Orient Express on April 18 Venice to London, and the trip was understandably cancelled. The delay in getting a refund wasn't understandable. It took 3 weeks to get a refund. Airlines do that in 24 hours. And then they shortchanged us. They originally charged our credit card $5,591.90 but they refunded $5,241.63. After a. complaint, they claimed the difference was due to the strength of the British pound.which is nonsense.
Any exchange rate risk is THEIRS. So they admitted as much, but said I had to submit a request for the dollar difference to their reservations department. And that will take ANOTHER 3 weeks.

We arrived here upon the recommendation of a friend who lives in Lima. When I told him we wanted to travel to Macchu Piccu he said " Stay at the Belmond Miraflores " It did not disappoint. A beautiful luxury. hotel with the dining room overlooking the park and the sea. We were there for an anniversary and they upgraded our room to one with a sauna.
Their customer service was anazing and frieldy to boot. We are definitely fans of the Belmond. In fact we ususlly go it alone, but Belmond customized a toue for us which was the vacation of a lifetime.

Amazing taster menu in Oxfordshire at the weekend. We took our 10 month old daughter and the staff were fantastic with her offering her 'little bits' to try. She loved the soup and ice cream. They even cut some. finger food for her and the presentation was outstanding. Our food was amazing and the overall experience was perfect start to finish! The gardens are amazing make sure you allow time to wander. Thank you for a memorable day.

The Belmond group of accommodations on the trains and hotels is so special as experienced many times previously but sadly needs to drop The Sanctuary in Machu Picchu from its stable. This Belmond Sanctuary. Lodge is about as good as a Holiday Inn with inferior dirty rooms, poor quality ingredients ( excellent service from Carlos) and disingenuous managers who are conspicuous by their absence.
We were bitterly disappointed with our experience. Sadly plastic bottles are also used. A simple little souvenir gift of a reusable Aluminium water bottle would help with the plastic pollution.
