Have had a couple of night stays at Birchwood House and it was lovely we stayed last year for a night and liked it so much we stayed for two this year Steve and Dawn are a lovely couple and make you feel at home the breakfast is amazing and the homemade jam would highly recommended a stay

July 2021 Great place to stay. The couple running it are really nice and welcoming. Its immaculately clean and tidy. The breakfast is lovely and made with good quality food, no supermarket own brands here

It's a family business small hotel. A quiet place run by nice people. My experience was great there. Very clean rooms, nice breakfast. 9.7 from 10.

Dawn and Steve made you very welcome and the tray of tea was most welcome, after a long journey. The breakfasts was cooked to perfection, lots of choices and special diets was no problem. Room was very clean and spacious and all ensuite. Family rooms available. Missing this hotel, can't wait to book for next year. Xx
