We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Beachwood Hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in one of the 2 garden rooms. These have a hot tub and sauna, and a massive bathroom. The food is amazing. Hats off the the chef. We will definitely be coming back here again. Highly recommended.

Another super Sunday lunch this time from Rachel front of house, and Lawrence at the stove, not forgetting Chris on the ivories! The usual courteous service, pleasant surroundings and great food - we're booked again for birthday celebrations in a couple of weeks - we love it. Keep it up, please. M&N

This hidden gem far exceeded expectations and my expectations were high. Had a lovely three night stay. Great room, lovely staff and the most amazing food! So good, booked a return visit which is coming up very soon. Easy walking distance to train station for Cromer, Holt and other great places. The owner has very high standards and this just exudes wherever you look. If you want luxury with amazing food, then this is the place. See you soon!

My wife and I went to a 60th birthday party. The staff who looked after us were very polite. The room that was hired out was spacious. I cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay overnight. That is why I haven't given any stars. Oh yeah and the beer is nice. It's also a short walk to the town centre.

This is our first visit to Beechwood Hotel. We had a lovely welcome from Rachel who definitely has her finger on the pulse. The atmosphere is very relaxed with art deco decor. We discovered Agatha Christie stayed here and the history of previous owners is proudly displayed on the walls. We met the current owner Hugh who took time to speak with us.
He's obviously very knowledgeable about the hospitality industry. The chef's are outstanding the quality, taste and smell of the cuisine is exquisite. Everything comes out freshly cooked and hot. All of the ingredients used come from a 10 mile radius and are seasonal. The restaurant service was perfect, Annie was polite and made sure we had everything we required.
Even the little trainee Chloe was being shown the ropes brilliantly by the other girls. We would certainly love to visit again, our four poster bed was very comfortable and Hugh mentioned that the hotel is holding some themed nights. We couldn't fault our visit and would highly recommend Beechwood to anyone visiting Norfolk.

Christmas Stay - Hotel Review We booked a Christmas break at the hotel, with two rooms one in the main building and a garden suite, in which we stayed. Welcomed by the owner of arrival, really friendly and welcoming, our daughter and her partner stayed in the main building, the room on the first floor. This was a large room, with separate and a brilliant rainfall shower.
The only minor criticism she had was that the room was too warm. My partner and I had the garden suite, this was large and spacious, with a good sized bathroom with both walking shower and a feature copper freestanding bath. The main room had a fridge for fresh milk to supplement the tea and coffee making facilities. The only disappointing feature was the the TV, was on the small side and at right angles to the bed making difficult to watch when sitting in bed.
The best feature is on the veranda, a large hot tub and a personal sauna. Despite the weather over Christmas i enjoyed the relaxation in the hot tub, and watching the garden there are screens to shield you from the garden should the garden being used by other guests. The staff deserve praise for their commitment and attitude over the three days of the stay they certainly made the break special.
