The room was dirty. Peeling paint, dirty carpet and sticky. Rusty baseboards and the drapes were dirty. Room smelled like musty. The music in the lobby was so loud you could not enjoy sitting in the lobby. Parking garage charged $21 dollars a day to park or for free parking you had to walk a mile to park for free, very inconvenient. Horrible place to stay I would NEVER come back or recommend to anyone to stay here.

This is a historical building. It obvious. The only downfall to it is that the rooms are not very well renovated, specifically the bathrooms, and the carpet. Plus if you want to eat a meal you have to pay, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner was not included with your stay. The only good things was it's a cool historical hotel with walking distance to everything downtown and very cool Al Capone suite with apparently a secret door.

I've never stayed in a hotel with actual keys, that was a first. Half the time we could not get the keys to work. The elevators apparently had a weight limit and only like 4-5 people at a time could get in, time for a upgrade. The hot tub and pool was nice and the basement was nice. We stayed here the weekend of June 3rd - 5th 2022.

Nice historic building within walking distance of everything in downtown Hot Springs. Really enjoyed the spa services hydrotherapy hot springs bath & massage. Susan (and the lady that helped Susan) & Karen were very nice & friendly. Really great experience because of these 2 women. The room was nice but the a/c could have done a little cooler. The shower water pressure was just a drip. The dining room Friday night seafood feast was really good.

What a wonderful historic hotel. Yes it's old and dated but it's a great place to stay. It's in the middle of downtown and you can walk anywhere. The service was a little slow when it came to getting things like new towels and toilet paper. I also don't think that you should have to pay 21 dollars a night to park in the hotels own garage if you have spent so much money on a room. But overall our stay was great.

This is our third visit and stay. The hotel is old but that really gives it an amazing charm. We always valet the car and the front desk is excellent. The atmosphere is so nostalgic and the proximity to everything downtown makes this must do bucket list or a wonderful tradition starter.

I have never been to a hotel where you don't meet at least one employee who hates their job and lacks customer service skills. Here every single person was extremely helpful and courteous! I forgot something in my room after checking out and it was promptly returned to me. There are areas where improvement is needed, such as ensuring the hot tub is working and having more than 2 people to check guests in so that the line/wait is not so long after a long trip.

This review is a bit late, as we stayed there a while back, but I thought it would still be good to share my thoughts. This hotel is quite charming, and has a great location within hot springs. The building is cool, the experience is unique, and overall we had a good time. The glaring downside of this hotel is simply the fact that it is a very old building.

Everything is quite dated, and you can feel that in many aspects of your stay. That being said, if you can tolerate those types of things, then it's worth staying at least one night in the Arlington just for the experience. Although, if you're in hot springs for maximum relaxation, maybe keep it to just one night here.

Hotel is enriched with history definitely need some updates and remodeling stayed in room 844 please do not make the mistake of staying in this room. Hotel has set temperature for the whole hotel which made the night sleep horrible because it was extremely too hot no fans were available so what was supposed to be a great night's sleep was an awful night sleep room next to ice maker noisy all night long.

Great customer service at the front desk enjoyed morning buffet. Overall stay I rated a one. I can't say I'll stay here again this was my second stay here won't happen again. Signed disappointed customer

What a great historical hotel! It gives you the nostalgic idea of what a glamorous place it once was back in its day of gangster, celebrities and ball players. If you are a big historical buff then you will love this place! Or maybe if you're someone that hopes to see some old paranormal energy. But in truth, the years of neglect weigh heavily on the building itself inside and out.

While I didn't mind the paint chipping everywhere or the scary elevator that almost didn't let us out. My hubs was disappointed in the price he paid for a lack of TLC this amazing piece of history. We had stayed here once before on Halloween last year. We both agreed that the condition of building itself has declined more over the past year. Although I would be back in a heart beat.

My hubs voted a heavy nope until some renovations have been done. He said at $145 a night there is no reason for it to be in such condition. Otherwise it's in a perfect location for the down town shops, bathhouse row and access to the mountain trails/mountain drive/scenery/night life and places to eat all in a walking distance.

Loved our stay at this historic hotel. We stayed two nights. It's within walking distance to most shops. Someone had a dog that barked in the room next to us, so they upgraded us to a nicer room. The staff was very accommodating. I also highly recommend Rolando's Restaurant nearby. The Ecuadorian food was Amazing. Fat Bottom girs Cupcakes is also a must visit!
