We went for afternoon tea for the bank holiday weekend. 1 gluten free and 3 normal. The teas were lovely and the location excellent but the service was awful. We were given 1 very small jug of milk for the 4 of us and although we searched the ground floor for staff, there were none except one busy in the bar. We had to go to the bar to pay and could have easily left the hotel without paying if we weren't so honest. We will not be going again.

Lovely place to stay! Clean, comfortable room, friendly service and the hotel's history is an interesting read. Ate in bar area which was relaxed and informal. Would have liked to see a couple more vegan options on the menu, but the food I had was good. Great walk along coast to Cromer too.

We visited today for Sunday lunch which was excellent. I had roast beef from the carvery which was cooked to perfection and the cheesy broccoli was fantastic, the rich cheese sauce was such a welcome change from the often much milder fare seved elsewhere. As a former restaurant manager at a country house hotel I want to make sure to mention the excellent staff, particularly Paige, who was very much on the ball the whole afternoon. Well done! I'm sure we'll be back.

Went in for lunch as a party of 5 with two dogs. Very impressed with the various rooms, History of the place, and beautiful lawns overlooking the sea. The food did not disappoint either with Scampi, Ciabatta, and veggie option all being hot, tasty and well presented. Well Mr Mackenzie, we will certainly revisit, particularly for the best tiled gents toilets!

My wife and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Sea Marge. A Beautiful Hotel in a great location. A good choice of food from 3 menu's. Very impressed with the restaurant team mainly very young, but worked in a very confident and professional manner. Room was lovely. Will return.

We have eaten in the bar before (great food) but wanted a Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday for 5. They accommodated us at 2.30pm (perfect for us) and although we were at the end of the service period we did not feel rushed. In fact, we were made to feel at ease even when we were the last table there. A member of staff wore Bunny ears (a young man who rocked the look!) and we were presented with an Easter Egg at the end for our 14 year old nephew.

He was delighted. He had been feeling a bit old for Easter Eggs so it made his day. The food was excellent. I must compliment the beetroot falafel. Falafel is hard to get right as it often dries out. I am not Vegan but if you are you will not be disappointed and if you aren't, like me, it is a wonderful starter before a meat or fish main course.

Thought we would try here again for Sunday lunch as first time wasn't very impressed. This time I am happy to say much better. Food was very good and service was excellent the only down side was the table could do with a clean. But will definitely be going back.

We popped into the Sea Marge for a drink and cake with our dog Ellie. The place is lovely with nice attentive staff and cosy seating. Monica was so nice and made our visit more special. Prices are fair and the views down to the sea are great. We can't wait to return.

This really is a luxury hotel without the luxury prices. The room and bathroom were really classy with very comfortable super king beds. The food was excellent and service in all departments too from friendly welcoming staff.
