I came with a group of friends and the Atholl Arms was the perfect choice for our trip. We had a bit of a mix up at the start due to Booking.com communicating one thing to me and a different thing to the hotel. I booked assuming there would be certain twin rooms, but on arrival they were doubles, because the booking provider didn't pass that on properly.

But the hotel staff were super helpful at resolving the issue, I'd say if you're expecting to be booking a certain number of beds, make sure to give them a call after booking to confirm the room configurations. The hotel inside is lovely and clean, the rooms were good. We were across 4 rooms and it seemed the quality of the showers varied from room to room, but the beds were comfy.

Breakfast was amazing, great cooked options, and selection of fruit/cereal, staff were really nice and attentive and the toast baskets and coffee just kept on coming, which we massively appreciated. Location is ideal, immediately next to the station. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, the staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable.

Stopped whilst out cycling. Had a lovely bowl of soup and cold drink. Service was good and it seemed busy.

Traditional Scottish old hotel. Tartan carpets and floors that creek! However staff are always lovely and helpful. Clean room. Not too fancy or luxurious but comfy with big tv and tea / coffee in room. The scenery here is spectacular. Staff are friendly and major bonus being pet friendly you can take dog in rooms plus you can take your dog to the bistro bar which is great there's also a beer garden. Bar/ bistro food is quality cuisine and breakfast was fantastic.

There is a wee shop around corner. Bus stop across the road. Train station 2 minutes walk from hotel. Comfy and convenient. Could be more modern but then it wouldn't be as authentic as this gem.

A little bit dated rooms but bathroom fresh looking although shower water pressure is low. I still rate this place highly as the room was cosy when it was freezing outside. Good atmosphere and Friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Overall better than other places within half hours drive which cost a lot more. Menus are down to earth and decent prices, evening meals good. Menus in others nearby far too fancy and expensive. Will definitely be back. A good relaxing weekend.

We had a fairly good meal. Although not as good as a previous visit, it was the last night they were serving meals until after Christmas, I had supposedly fresh fish, but it didn't seem fresh to me, also the chips were fairly dry. It made me wonder if I got what was left before closing, the waitress was very good.
