We know that some people cannot manage to enjoy themselves on holiday with out their pets - which is why we welcome pets at Claymore. The Pitlochry area is a great place for walks, there are so many wonderful walking routes round and about for mans best friends to enjoy, or even a dip in the loch! I have a list at reception of the many dog friendly eating/drinking places within easy walking distance.
Fern Cottage - offering something a little bit different by adding a small taster of the Mediterranean to great Scottish food! Mckays Bar & Restaurant - Traditional Scottish pub serving the finest local ales and produce. The Loft (Blair Atholl) - A variety of mouth watering dishes to suit all and a fab atmosphere.

Stayrd 28th & 29th April. Hosts Gordon and Laureen made us most welcome. We had room number 9 which was huge and spotlessly clean. Lovely garden to sit on patio and enjoy the sunshine and birdsong. Great choice for breakfast and friendly staff who cant do enough for you. Only 2 or 3 min walk to town. Highly recommend.

Such a dog friendly guest house in the lovely town of Pitlochry. The owners, Diane & Graeme, couldn't do enough for either us or the dog. The rooms were lovely and the bed and duvet were so comfortable that it was hard to get up in the mornings. The breakfast made it worth it. Hot delicious and locally sourced. Would recommend this to anyone.

Just back from a three night stay at this wonderful guest house. Hosts Graham and Diane were lovely. Great choice for breakfast everyday, and it was all delicious. When they say dog friendly, they mean it.! Nice selection of dog treats in the room along with tea, coffee and biscuits for us. Room was comfortable with a beautiful bathroom, with large shower.
You will not be disappointed at Claymore, from start to finish. A warm welcome awaits, along with a great breakfast, beautiful house and stunning gardens. It's a real treat and a wonderful find.!

Anyone staying at this guesthouse will not be disappointed. The location and garden settings are beautiful. The owners are the friendliest and nicest people you could meet. Breakfast is the best ever, cooked to perfection. Gorgeous spacious rooms. On site parking. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we extended our booking. We will be returning asap.
