Nice hotel although parking is very limited. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and steam room temperature was fine but they couldn't get the temperature of the jacuzzi correct. One day it was 42*C with no warning signs! and next day it was 36*C. It should be between 37-40*C. Meals in the restaurant were quite tasty but we expected better.
It was more like pub food. Restaurant staff were very young and maybe not fully trained as they didn't do two things we asked for. We heard similar comments from other tables with the staff.

Real disappointment to be honest, I booked here simple for the spa facilities. The jacuzzi bubbles didn't work and also the sauna wasn't hot. The pool was freezing. So frustrating. I spoke to the receptionist and asked her to call my room with an answer but long behold the call never came. So paid for a really nice stay and didn't get it. The only good thing about my stay in Blairgowrie was the Lee Evans box set and vinyl I found in the charity shop. Also room 214 looks out onto a wall about 1.5m away. I feel I've been completely let down here. Good bye Blairgowrie from now on I shall only to passing through

Good centrally placed hotel, with free parking close by. Our first room, which had an interesting curved wall, but unfortunately had no WiFi connection and after many complaints we moved to a room closer to reception area where WiFi was good. Leisure pool was large, beautifully decorated and had excellent steam room, sauna and deep jacuzzi. Dinner served in dining room, good menu, large portions. Buffet breakfast, served in different dining area, suffered from cooked food being kept warm. Staff very helpful.

I was staying on a business trip for work. No complaints with the food/restaurant, however upon arrival to my room, I noticed the TV was not working. I went down to notify the gentleman on reception (around 6pm), who seemed rushed and agitated, scribbled my room number on a loose scrap of paper and said he was just doing a whisky tasting but would be up right after if this was okay.
I said that was fine, I would just go to the restaurant and have dinner, and he could come and get me at any point. Having finished my dinner around an hour later, I went back to the reception to find him still away, so went up to my room to wait. I thought I'd be considerate by not sitting on/disturbing the bed, in case I was to move rooms so the cleaners didn't need to change the bedding, so with nothing else to do, sat on the small chair in the room, essentially twiddling my thumbs.
I made numerous trips down to the reception desk over the course of the next two hours and not once was the gentleman anywhere to be seen. I eventually gave up and just went to bed at 9.30. Having worked in the hotel industry myself in the past, nothing ruins a hotels reputation like poor service. Extremely disappointed by the experience and will be leaving a review on my company's travel booking portal to state the same.

We had a 2 night stay while working in Scotland the hotel is clean and looks very smart however their was no parking on site, we had to park away from the hotel, the self check in couldn't find our booking we had quite a lot of luggage and wasn't informed there was a lift. The room was a long way from the entrance and was very small the shower was cold the first night and we had no service in our room the following day not even teas and coffee replenished.
On our second night the room was extremely cold and we didn't get a very good night sleep. The food was adequate although I think they need to change the variety of teabags on offer as only flavoured or earl grey and the way they serve their fried eggs the customer service was poor and the Saturday evening they had a event which obviously took over their staff priorities all in all I certainly wouldn't stay again.

When we pulled into Blairgowrie at noon, we were famished after travelling down the winding road from the fabulous Inver Hotel, near pretty Braemar. The Angus hotel carpark was full -a good sign at lunchtime.so we ventured in after perusing the menu posted outside. We were met by the hotel manager, (who had just kissed a baby), he then smiled at me & with a twinkle in his eye, announced that he usually didn't give all clients that same treatment -utterly charming! :) He then noticed we were carrying our iPads & immediately gave us the wifi access password.
We sat down in the very well appointed & classy bar: large tables, comfy seating. There was lots of room, but many locals obviously come here for a nice lunch or spot of tea. (it was fun to eavesdrop on the lovely accents!) We had the soup of the day (a big bowl of yummy scotch broth, chock full of veggies & barley) & a panini for 6.95. The portions were extremely generous & the panini came with a small bit of coleslaw salad on the side.
We rounded everything out with some herbal tea & shortbread. All in all excellent value for the money & very delicious! Service was fantastic -fast & attentive! The atmosphere was very relaxed & comfortable. We heartily recommend the Angus Hotel Restaurant/Bar for a nourishing, delicious meal, when traveling on the way to the CairnGorums! Enjoy! :)
