Kinloch House appeals to everyone who enjoys that 'home from home' atmosphere. This is a special place in which to relax and enjoy some of Scotland's wonderful countryside and good cuisine. Built in 1840, Kinloch House is a fine example of a traditional Scottish country house. With an oak-panelled hall, staircase and portrait gallery, the house stands proudly in twenty-five acres of woodland and parkland. The elegant character of the house and the friendly welcoming atmosphere combines informality with quality.

My Shetland crab starter was exquisite. The roast breast and confit leg of mallard main course is worthy of an award - with presentation that verified the permeable line between artists and chefs.

This hotel will not be for everyone, but if you want a quiet, relaxing, secluded break away from everything in interesting, mature, surroundings with fantastic food, then this is for you. Near enough to Blairgowrie, Dunkeld, Perth, Blair Atholl and Bruar for a trip out and surrounded by glorious countryside, Kinloch House offers a sublime retreat to recharge your batteries. Excellent, quality, unobtrusive customer service adds to the ambience.
Or why not just relax in the total quiet of the Victorian building and it's eclectic interesting contents, listen to the geese overhead, watch the horses in the adjacent field, and prepare for the next culinary feast. Highly recommended if this calm, secluded, high quality staycation is what you are looking for.

Brilliant, really good meal in the evening and breakfast in a conservatory in the morning. They give a good service and there is a nice atmosphere during the meal, not a long wait between courses. Maybe the best thing was a nice couple of sofas and small table with armchairs in a separate room while waiting for a table. A safe distance apart from others but close enough to have a conversation. That is often where places fall short as you have to stand and wait at the entrance where people walk past as they arrive and leave.

More impressed on every visit. I'm unsure of his official title, but, whisky wizard / bar manager / on call 24/7 host, Paul, is an exceptional addition to this superb hotel in stunning surroundings. The food is fantastic, breakfast could use a little work but the bannock is a nice touch. Waiting staff are exceptional without exception. We will most certainly be back.

We have just spent a weekend at Kinloch House and I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. Our room was enormous and palatial with stunning views over the park in front. Food was outstanding at both dinner and breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for the team of charming yet discreet staff. We definitely plan to return to this wonderful Scottish gem!
