John and Steve warmly welcome you to Glenshieling House, which is a magnificent Victorian villa built in 1893; peacefully located within its own private gardens and woodland of three acres and set amongst the rolling Perthshire Hills, yet only a fifteen minutes stroll to Blairgowrie Town centre and all its amenities. We pride ourselves on our delicious breakfast, with fresh eggs from our "Glenshieling Girls", the outstanding service and the house itself, which has been extensively renovated, with five beautiful en suite bedrooms that offer all the modern comforts with a contemporary twist yet retains the charm of a character property.
Services
Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am in our breakfast room. Choose from a selection of cereals, muesli, granola, fresh fruit of the season, natural yogurt and fresh fruit juices from the buffet table. Freshly ground coffee and a selection of specialist teas will be served to your table. Full Scottish Breakfast - sausage, bacon, Stornoway black pudding, haggis, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried egg and a tattie scone with beans on the side.
We specialise in small events including; birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and weddings, whatever your event is, let us know and we will discuss options with you. We can sleep up to 12 people, can hoist up to 12 for dining and up to 30 on a buffet basis and of course we have a fully licensed bar. The venue is also available for exclusive hire.
Scotland is home to many beautiful walking routes and trails, and Law Hill in Dundee is one of the most popular. Keen walkers and outdoor lovers flock to Perth throughout the year to make the most of its incredible hiking trails. Keen walkers often head to Scotland to tackle some of the excellent trails and walking routes in the area.

Delightful hotel. Warm and attentive hosting from Steve. Luxurious room with very comfortable bed and all the amenities you could think of. Stylish decor and grounds. Private off street parking. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Particularly liked the sitting room and honesty bar - you will want to spend time enjoying the hotel as well as the surrounding area. Short amble in to town - would recommend Littles restaurant. Thanks for a great stay - I'll be back again, Adam

The Glenshieling House is absolutely brilliant in every way. The rooms are decorated in a very original style and are immaculate. The attention to detail is amazing with fabulous facilities. The peace and quiet here was blissful. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast choice and quality is fabulous. We would definitely recommend the Glenshieling House to everyone.

As part of my job I've toured all over Scotland, staying in many B&B's, but I've never come across anything like Glenshieling House. It's outstanding! My husband and I stayed there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had planned to explore Blairgowrie but after checking in, we decided to spend as much time as possible in our luxurious room and didn't see much of the town at all.
The decor of the whole house is so stylish with the most amazing little details and the hosts, Steve and John go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our breakfast was incredible and we loved the honesty bar. We cannot wait to go back and couldn't recommend it more!

Had a great two-night stay at Glenshieling House. Everything you wanted/needed from a short break: Friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely house with it's quirky decorations and artwork (just the perfect mix without being too cluttered), comfortable bed, nice shower room, everything nice and clean. And the breakfast was brilliant. Hope to be back soon.

Had a great stay here. Free parking off street in a quiet area with relaxing grounds. The inside is modern but respectful and arty. They blokes were always helping carry bags or offering food and drink so couldn't have been more pleasant. All the food was well cooked and of a high standard which you can tell. Even the home made marmalade was lovely. All in a very nice stay. Cheers

Tranquil inside and out and beautifully furnished, it offers excellent comfort with a luxurious feel. Hosts are friendly but not intrusive and clearly know how to provide an excellent and personal service. Great attention to detail. Indulgent breakfasts with terrific locally sourced ingredients. There is a beautiful 15-minute walk along the riverside to a choice of good quality restaurants. Would not hesitate to recommend.
