Port Erin is a small, sleepy fishing village situated on the South-West end of the Isle of Man. It has a deep bay, guarded by headlands on either side. The mountains of Mourne can often be seen on the horizon. The Balmoral Hotel is situated on the lower part of the promenade and overlooks the sandy beach. It is convenient for the local amenities, shops and transport.

Excellent place to stay, ideal location with the most perfect view from the bar/lounge area however the star of the show is Mary, what a wonderful host, and she does a cracking breakfast too.

The host is lovely & the views of Port Erin are beautiful but the smelly room, especially the toilet/shower cubicle area was unpleasant. A moldy smell in other areas & a general aura of neglect throughout the place really outweighed any positives. Very dated interior. Disappointing overall
