We were initially going to book another hotel at the far end of the fairground. Then my wife saw The Imperial Hotel and we are SO glad she did! The hotel has sufficient car parking and right away the warm welcome on arrival was lovely. Room was just as we expected with a superb view over The Waterways and sea view to boot! A lovely walk along the front soon brings you to the attractions and more. Would I/we recommend? ABSOLUTELY! But don't tell everyone as we will definitely be returning so, keep it to yourself, so we can get a room when we rebook!

We stayed here for a Wedding, in addition to a great, well planned and highly enjoyable event (at the hotel too) the hotel was superb. The room was spacious, and well equipped. Special mention must go to the bed which was large and very comfortable. Location is fantastic, you are opposite the quieter end of the beach so have plenty of space for yourself.

Seafront hotel along main strip of Great Yarmouth across the road from dune covered beach front with sea views. We sat in the glass fronted terrace which had views of the seaside and main route along the promenade. Hotel is situated at the quieter end of the strip. All be-it the hotel is a 'bit tired ' looking the food was great and service friendly.
We opted for the self cook seared fillet steak main served on a hot stone which was delicious and very filling. Well presented meals. All in all a good night and made a change to drive a few miles up the coast away from our own home town of Lowestoft.

Wow, we will be back! Location is perfect, and has lots of parking. Beach is immediately opposite. Great sea view from the room (bed to request a room with a sea view). The room was very clean and well presented, great shower, and tea/coffee provided. Five minutes walk into the main town centre. Easy access in and out of Great Yarmouth to the hotel.
Staff are so lovely, the perfect blend of casual and approachable but professional. Includes an amazing breakfast that really is a cut-above the usual - the food is largely local, cooked to perfection, and servings are generous. A great selection, and all offered on the lovely terrace area that combines indoor/outdoor dining. And as for dining in the evening. You'd easily think you were eating in a Michellin restaurant - just do it! I can't imagine staying anywhere else when in Great Yarmouth.
