Services
Situated up a small hill (6.5m of ascent too front door, ) Mona Drive, just off the middle of Central Promenade, The Welbeck Hotel, Restaurant & Apartments is the ideal venue for both business and leisure travellers. There is a bus stop for the Airport route (1,2,11,12) about 200m away and although unfortunately, there is no allocated disability place, there is street parking around the Hotel.
The Welbeck is unique among dining establishments with the space we have available in both the bar and the restaurant, while at the same time remaining intimate, allowing us to provide fine food without exorbitant prices. Chef, Kris Gunn has created a brand new set of Menus with a lovely choice of sweets and deseerts all made fresh in-house.
A range of spacious hotel rooms tastefully furnished and equipped with all modern conveniences. Our well appointed rooms all have en suite bathroom and some offer a choice of double or twin beds. All our rooms have High Speed WiFi Internet, Digital Television. Though we are slightly set back from the busy Douglas Promenade, many of our rooms offer limited sea views, with a few quiet rooms located to the rear of the hotel, which still enjoy a sunny aspect.
Our spacious apartments are fully self catering, yet benefit from all the facilities of the hotel. With fully fitted kitchen and dining areas and even a balcony with sea views our apartments are a favourite with families. We have 6 beautifully appointed one bedroom apartments with bathroom and lounge incorporating dining area and partitioned kitchen. Our Two Bedroom Self Catering Apartment, has a larger lounge, balcony and separate kitchen and breakfast bar in addition to the main dining area.

Room 309 slept 4 in single beds & was comfortable & clean & has a sea view. Buffet style breakfast had excellent choice - I just wonder if the toaster provision could be improved. Located very close to the beach. On-street parking as per the majority of hotels in the area. Hill may be steep for some people. Staff excellent. Would stay again.

It is thanks to the staff of the Welbeck Hotel that I am alive today. I went to the Isle of Man for a 5 day holiday to mark my 50th birthday. On the day before (3rd May) I suffered a major heart attack in my hotel room. The first aider came up straight away and ensured i was conscious while the ambulance arrived. While I was in hospital awaiting the air ambulance they had packed my bags and delivered them to my hospital room and even gave me a get well card.
I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me, they saved my life and without their prompt action I wouldn't be here now. I hope one day I get to return to stay there again and thank them in person.

I'm currently staying at the Welbeck and I couldn't of picked a better hotel. The team are so helpful and have saved me money with the advice they have given me. I'm staying with my wife and three children in the apartment which is huge. I'm booked for the week and was due to sail back tomorrow. The owner said the room is till available if you want to extend.
So we did for an extra three nights and he gave us one for free. If I ever come back to the Isle of Man this is where I will stay. 1 minute work to the sea and Spar shop (slight hill down) free parking all the way around the hotel alway can find a space. Breakfast is amazing with a large choice. It has a lovely little bar. The only down side is that eventually you have to leave
