Overnight stay with breakfast was a lovely comfortable stay as visiting our son at Falmouth University, bedroom was spotless with en-suite bathroom, although shower was over bath which is bit awkward for me as I've got limited mobility, a selection of hot drinks in room on arrival free WiFi, ample free parking, was a pleasant overnight stay, host was very friendly & informative.

We have really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have found all staff to be welcoming and friendly. Our room is absolutely as advertised, clean and comfortable and they provided towels and mats for our two small dogs also without us asking. Breakfast is really great- I like the system of ordering the night before- makes things quicker and easier in the morning.

The food has been great quality and delicious. Decor in communal areas is really lovely and new- nice sofas in the bar area and great views from the windows. Really nice location for walking to local beaches and castle. Short car ride into Falmouth and not far from Lizard point which we enjoyed a lot. Thanks for a great stay!

Just spent 3 nights at Trelawne. The location was perfect (I'm not very confident navigating tiny cornish roads but had no problems at all with driving around the location) and as promised, my room had a magical view out over Falmouth bay. My room was immaculately clean, good quality toiletries were provided. Breakfast was lovely, good quality ingredients (and an excellent choice each day) perfectly cooked.

I ate in the restaurant on my final evening and it too was excellent - much better than expected from a small hotel. Due to Covid everything is managed remotely, breakfast is ordered the night before by filling in a sheet to be left at reception, checkout and payment done via a webpage, so my only real interaction with the staff was in the restaurant, but they were all pleasant and helpful and regularly asked if everything was ok and did I need anything else.

The only very tiny downside was that the bed was very soft, so being used to a firm mattress I found it difficult to sleep. But I'd definitely go again - maybe ask next time if they have a room with a firmer bed.

Lovely hotel, lovely owners and beautiful location. Stayed for 4 nights in December for work with my dog. Was able to take advantage of the breakfast and it was the best fried bread I've ever had! Easy commute to Falmouth. Maenporth Beach down the hill with The Cove to eat at too.

We have stayed at this family hotel on 4 occasions now and never been disappointed. We have just spent a weekend with our family here and again, were very pleased. Excellent accommodation and food. Service very good. Location, lovely. Well done Emily and her staff.

Very nice hotel. Good room size, Clean and spacious. Would have given 5 Stars if there was either Air conditioning or a good ceiling fan. Too warm for my liking and no way of reducing. Ps. Please don't spray the chairs with Chemical when we were at breakfast on the next table. Really spoiled my appetite. Good breakfast though.

Well deserving of 5 stars. We had a one night stay on this occasion with a booking of two rooms. It may be relevant to mention our age range was 18 to 54. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from a gentleman who, I assume, is the owner. He took the time to ask about our journey and shared some memories of his time in our home town without being over intrusive.

Both our rooms were spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. The bar is relaxed and is impressively stocked. We were particularly taken with the choice of alcohol free drinks in both beer and spirits including my personal favourite Seedlip. We stayed for dinner and indulged in 3 courses each of which was beautifully presented and delicious.

After a good night's sleep, we had time for a relaxed breakfast before leaving. The choice was excellent and again delicious. We had an easy checkout with the same gentleman who remembered the reason for our stay and sent us on our way with his good wishes. During our stay each and every staff member we had contact with was friendly, polite and professional. There was just one negative of our stay and that is we only stayed one night. We will definitely stay again and next time for longer.

Evening meal menu very varied and lovely options. Friendly and helpful staff. Made to feel welcome. Bed so comfy. Nice ensuite. I'd definitely return.

Have stayed here many times over a period of 15+ years. Have never been disappointed. Deal without problem with my gluten free diet. Hotel itself is always clean, the rooms comfortable and the staff lovely. Views from the sea facing rooms are great although it would be difficult to fault the country facing rooms although we have never stayed in a downstairs country facing room. Will be there again hopefully before Christmas.
