The dining experience was the only thing worth experiencing at this hotel. Only the dining staff and the receptionist treated their customers with respect. The hotel owners and the manager were extremely rude and disrespectful. Won't recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

The hotel situation is so picturesque! I visited for a Wedding and it could not have been better. The staff were so accommodating and the food was superb! The only criticism I have is the limited amount of wheel chair accesd. They do have a portable ramp to get into the main door but nothing to the rear decking or the gardens from inside. there are stone steps everywhere; beautifully appointed outside decking with padded seating and parasols, woodland walks and a play area for younger visitors. NONE of which is wheelchair accessible sadly. Overall a good 9/10 Well worth a visit unless you are wheelchair bound.

I was a little late getting to the birthday tea party celebrations. But it equally took a while for the waitress to realise I was there, and ask what I needed. After that though things were lovely. Scones delicious, and a great way, and place to celebrate Ma's 80th

Our second stay and can definitely recommend. We spent 3 nights on bed and breakfast basis and cannot fault. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and relatively modern, bathroom to good standard. We will be back.

Myself and my husband have recently got married here and the service we received were second to none. Neil, Katie and the rest of the team were simply fantastic! From the moment we booked it as our venue, we knew we had made the right choice. Communication with the staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. As we are not local, we couldn't visit too often but when we were in town, Neil or Katie were more than happy to have a chat with us about our plans and sort through finer details of the day to put us at ease.

On the wedding day, Neil made sure everything ran so smoothly and he was always on hand to help. He made an excellent toastmaster, keeping the drinks topped up, moving cake around and keeping everything running on time. It is clear he loves his job as he does it with such passion! Everyone commented to us afterwards how efficient he was. All of our guests loved the day, so much so they want us to do it all over again!

We couldn't recommend Penmorvah Manor Hotel enough for any event that you should wish to host. Neil will make sure everything runs smoothly and answer and questions you might have. The bedrooms were really nice with everything you could need with wonderful views of either the sea or the gardens. The food was amazing, with the options of breakfast, lunch and dinner! Thank you to you all for making our day unforgettable

Lovely hotel, clean room, food superb. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful despite a shortage of personnel, which meant that they were all doing two or three jobs. The setting is beautiful, with spacious, well cared-for grounds.

We had a mid-range room, which was excellent, B&B basis, the breakfast was fine, good choices, well cooked and served hot. We enjoyed the setting and our 3days in the hotel and would use them again

Really lovely hotel and excellent service from the staff. Lovely gardens to walk round with stunning scenery. Very quiet location, but not too far from two different beaches and Falmouth itself. Very clean and comfortable. Only criticism - wifi iffy in room, but fine in restaurant, bar area and on outside terrace. Which is lovely to sit on, provided weather is agreeable!

A lovely stay in a room with a view overlooking the sea, perfect. Comfortable bed and a great breakfast. Staff were attentive and gave assistance when needed. The only thing stopping 5* would be the outdated shower and lack of toiletries, which one would expect for the price. But overall a lovely hotel in a great location

Having been turned away from some hotels in Falmouth we phoned the Penmorvah Manor Hotel and asked if they were serving Cream Teas for 4 people including 2 elderly ladies with walking sticks? They were only too happy to accommodate us. Beautiful surroundings and friendly staff, the scones were homemade and were delicious with the local clotted cream and jam. We had a choice of Tea or Coffee and sat in the conservatory overlooking the lovely gardens. We will be back and during the winter too, thankyou Penmorvah!

I have a mixed opinion on our stay. We stayed for three nights in a deluxe room, and overall had a pleasant experience. The pros: the terrace was amazing, great view and a wonderful location for an afternoon drink in the sun. The food was fresh and hot. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The cons would be that the building itself was really not to our taste - quite outdated.

In our room we could hear people walking past and talking - as well as through the walls. I think the cleanliness of the dining room could improve also. The items setup for breakfast could occasionally be dusty like they've been left out over night. Most sadly, we didn't see enough of the manor dogs! We would recommend staying, if this style of property is to your interest.

I'd left it a bit late to book a bank holiday weekend hotel so was not expecting much when i managed to book the Penmorvah Manor last minute. How wrong I was, the staff are attentive, the large rooms were clean and the Full English breakfast was hot and served within minutes of us ordering it each morning. We had two rooms, a double and a single, both had sea views (although many rooms do not). The gardens were lovely and the rooms had everything you would expect. We did not dine in the hotel as we were visiting family but did enjoy the bar in the evening.
