We booked relatively last minute for one night only and it was a fantastic price. Upon arrival we were greeted by a really friendly and helpful guy who was keen to ensure we had a fabulous stay. The room itself was a great size with a stunning sea view. There as a nice seating area around the window looking out at the view and we loved it. Perfect chilling spot.

We were provided with plenty of towels and a free wee bottle of wine. We appreciated the gift but we sadly left it behind because we were flying the next day and couldn't take it on board. We thought it was a nice touch. The breakfast was different to what they usually provide due to covid but a fab continental style breakfast was left at our door for us.

It was ideal. The bathroom had a few wee cobwebs and dusty bits but nothing horrendous. We paid the same price for one night in Bristol and the quality paled in comparison to the Poltair Guest House.

We stayed on the top floor with glorious views out across the bay. The room was perfect, with everything we needed for our 2 day stay, and the breakfasts were tasty and plentiful, all in all, I can highly recommend The Poltair.

Stayed for 5 nights in one of the smaller twin rooms with a friend (size and no view are the only reason this isn't a 5*). Excellent value, freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice. Rooms a little dated but very clean, with a fridge stocked with fresh milk and fruit juice, with a kettle and coffee/tea and biscuits. Staff were very friendly and the location is perfect for both the lovely Gyllyngvase beach and Falmouth Harbour. Would visit again, but upgrade to a larger room with sea view.

Very friendly hosts. My room was beautifully clean with sea views. So comfy. Well stocked fridge and a welcome mini bottle of wine. Even Netflix's and YouTube on the good size TV. This is my second time here and I'm really happy when I stay. The rooms look to have been totally refurbished from my last visit and there is always everything you need. Of course. great location too! Thanks again Poltair

Very good guest house, with friendly staff. Clean, and well situated for beaches and town centre. Street parking was easy to find. We would certainly revisit if we return to Falmouth.

Going on holiday under covid circumstances is bound to have its restrictions at any hotel, but despite these the poltair guest house was faultless in providing high quality service that included lovely breakfast, the finest facilities and toiletries and well replenished spacious rooms for affordable prices. Our stay was just as enjoyable with social distancing in place thanks to the lovely lady owner.

Fantastic place to stay. We had 2 nights in a beautiful room on the top floor with a sea view. Great attention to detail, clean and lovely friendly hosts. Highly recommend and probably the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Thank you from a Joanna and Jack xx
