The picturesque village of Kippen lies in the Fintry Hills, 10 miles west of Stirling and on the southern edge of Flanders Moss. Looking north from the village across the vast expanse of farmland that was once the notorious Moss, the view is dominated by the the wall of mountains forming the edge of the Trossachs, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Scotland and a must for exploring.

Popped in for a small bite to eat for the first time, after a long dog walk. Although we were a tad muddy (and out German Shepherd was worse), we were welcomed by the cheery staff. They have a lovely beer garden to the rear of the bar/restaurant and tables at the front roadside. We opted for the beer garden, although we could have stayed indoors with the dog too .
The menu was varied with something for every taste. Our order was delicious and they even had dog treats (and water bowls) for our hairy boy. We'll certainly be back. Give it a try if you're in the Kippen area. You'll not regret it.

Just back from an overnight stay. Mark made us very welcome and showed us to our room. We stayed in room 3 which was very nice but the mattress definitely needs replaced. Unfortunately there's 3 stairs to the bathroom and my husband has mobility problems but Mark and his team weren't aware of that when we booked the banter in the bar in the afternoon was worth the visit in itself. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Definitely a wee gem of a place. Special thanks to Mark for sorting out the heating in our room.

We had Valentines 5 course tasting menu. Absolutely superb. Food was amazing as was the service. Scott was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. All staff worked really hard tonight. Would highly recommend. We stayed the night. Rooms clean and comfortable. Lots of little extras. Could maybe do with a little cosmetic update but totally fone Good value for money. Will defo visit again

Our 1st time visiting for dinner and won't be our last. My smoked salmon starter was delicious and my partners soup was also very tasty. My Fillet steak was as good as I've had anywhere in a long time and the triple cooked chips? Well they were worth the trip alone. Attentive staff and swift service. I look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu very soon.

From walking through the door with our large dog to leaving the following morning after a fantastic full Scottish breakfast we couldn't of been looked after any better. The staff and chef were very attentive throughout our stay. Food was excellent and was certainly the best way to finish our tour around Scotland. Thanks

Disappointed with latest meal here. Been twice before and it's been outstanding but this time it was poor. The duck and black pudding (which they forgot to put on plate) were overcooked. The potato fondant was also below par and needed salt. Lovely presentation but disappointing food. The waiters were nice though.

The Inn at Kippen gets four stars on the basis of the warm welcome, the lovely people, and fantastic breakfast by a real fire. The small room we stayed in was bright and clean and comfortable. I can't give it five stars though, because it does fall short in a few areas. The pleasant decoration hides a tired infrastructure that needs some TLC. For example, the towel radiator was falling off the wall, the tops kept coming off the taps, the soap dispenser holder didn't hold the soap, and the clothes hanging rail was ridiculous. Attached to the ceiling, it was impossible for my 5' 5 wife to even reach. All that said, I'd definitely stay here again for the food and warm welcome.
