The nearest train station is at Bamford, which is 2 miles away at the lower end of the village (The Yorkshire Bridge Inn can be found to the north of Bamford). There are no taxis at the station but we can book a taxi if we have sufficient notice. The Yorkshire Bridge Inn dates back to at least 1826.
We work with local suppliers and producers in order to ensure the best quality and freshness and a true taste of the Peak District and Derbyshire. We went there for lunch. The place was lively and well laid out. It has ample seating arrangements in both indoor and outdoor. The staff were professional and friendly. All members of our group loved the food. It was delicious, fresh and well presented. The portion was enough for us. Great experience overall.

I haven't fully experienced this place so can only comment on what I did experience. Fair amount of parking in 2 car parks. Plenty of seating both inside and out but fairly busy being a sunny weekend. Only had coffee which was just ok. Seems a nice place overall and would go back when I had more time.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a party of 13. What a superb find. Perfectly cleaned rooms. Lovely food. Pleasant and helpful staff. Loved the extra touches. The tray for boots in each room and the flannel embroidered with "makeup remover ". Enjoyable home made ginger biscuits. Will certainly be returning.

Beatiful pub and an absolute treat after a long walk. The staff are very friendly, great atmosphere and a good selection of food and drinks. Delightful home made food and hearty portions; we all had different things but every single one of us truly enjoyed our dinner. Will definitely return again and highly recommend it.

Second stay here. Room comfort was good but shower screen is a little short meaning the floor gets wet. Post lockdown and new COVID-19 outbreaks meant staffing labels weren't the usual but didn't affect the stay. Quite quiet in terms of occupancy. Food was good and plenty of it. Good base for walking.
