Had a Sunday Roast here. Was amazing, chicken roast is amazing and I was luckily to have their lamb shoulder which was to die for. Really friendly staff and great food A+ from me

Staff are friendly and very helpful especially Kamil! Great beer, delicious food. Can recommend Sunday roast for a nice lunchtime with a relaxing atmosphere in the sunny beer garden.

Nice atmosphere especially in the pub garden. Food was good. Waitress forgot beer order but apologised and took it off the bill. Unfortunately where we were seated was a corridor to the kitchen and had staff pacing up and down hurriedly which was not as relaxing. Sticky toffee pudding - icecream was melting in pool of syrup. ratio was not quite right, more ice-cream, less pudding please.

New favourite pub in Crouch End! Staff were great, especially one in particular, I think his name was Ernie. Very helpful to our group and deserves a mention, hence the review.

We came in on a Monday night and were immediately welcomed by the lovely Gosha! She made us feel so comfortable and at home, also gave us good food recommendations - we had the pig cheek starter and the Charter pie and were AMAZED! Compliments to the chef too Maynard is such a lovely neighbourhood pub, we will definitely be back again and again!

Wow its not even close to describe this place and it's a shame there is no more than 5 stars we can give. From the minute we walked in we felt welcome and every second of our time was priceless! Amazing food, incredible staff and great atmosphere! This is one off those YOU MUST GO TO places and trust me when is say it. You won't be disappointed!

Terrible pint of Guinness. Not only was it badly poured but it had absolutely zero cream factor. If you can't be bothered to make sure the drink is drinkable then don't sell it. The food was very average. I had the pulled pork burger and it was very plain. It felt like the pulled pork was bought in and just warmed up. Staff were not very good either.

This isn't a pub, it's a restaurant and not a very good one. And why are you taking the Christmas decorations down (during opening hours) on 30/12? Is it that hard to leave them up until the 6th January? Or are you celebrating Christmas for the decoration and not as a religious holiday?

A nice experience, came here during the Euros and decided to come back during the Masters Snooker tournament. Very nice service, and the food is decent. I had the fish and chips which came out reasonably quick and was reasonably priced. Would recommend

Came with some friends for a Sunday roast. We all had the roast beef, which was absolutely delicious, and a lovely bottle of wine. Jo, our server, was friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Busy with weddings when we visited so the staff were stretched thin. Very nice room with killer views. Wonderful old building. Resturant was great, beautifully prepared food that tasted great. Would stay here again for sure.

This year we ventured over to Derbyshire to the Chatsworth House fireworks show and needed some accomodation quickly, through 'Laterooms' we found a hotel we had driven past many times 'The Maynard' we got a good deal through our late booking and we were well pleased with that room and the friendliness of the staff. After the fireworks we got back and went downstairs for a drink.

The barmaid told us to go upstairs to the function room where they had a fantastic Glam Rock tribute band. We where welcomed into the company of everybody up there and ended up having a great night. The next day we opted for the the complementary continental breakfast which was really really nice, croissants, smoked hams, cereals, breads yogurts, fuit etc. This set us up for a nice explore before dinner.
