This was a coach trip organised last minute. Staff were all so helpful, polite and friendly. Room was clean even tho all needs a refurbish very comfortable. Tv s need updating signal bad but not watching much. No internet in room? Advised hotel in advance I was vegan but lived of salad ie lettuce tomato and bit pepper each night until I went out and bought some extras managed to accommodate with soya milk each day thankfully. I would definitely stay again tho.

Because of covid we were left in our room with the dirty cups etc Also we had a flooded toilet reported and sorted! Only to have it again next day they wrapped a cloth round pipes Dining room no point in getting there first done in table order! So wait your turn Hope its better in Nov when have to visit again

Absolute bunch of crooks in my opinion. My late father paid 440 for a jazz weekend due to take place in March 2020. Due to Covid the event did not go ahead. Despite three letters to the hotel and its owners and the fact that they are required by law to provide a full refund the Hotel has not done so. Truly shameful behaviour.

Room was comfortable and clean, windows seemed to let quite a lot of noise in. Shower was frustrating as I could not get a steady temperature, either really hot or very cold. Needed to get away to work before 8 and breakfast wasn't quite ready at 7.30 as advertised. Reception staff friendly and professional

Hotel room was good for short stay. Breakfast good. But, my family of four came in for breakfast, including a six and ten year old. The full adult breakfast charge was applied for all four. The six year old had toast scrambled egg and drink. Previously charged as three adults. Check prices carefully. Just when we thought we had found a good Hotel for our family visits.

The family room had tired decor and a window which opened fully. We stayed the week a 5 year old fell out the window of a hotel and died, staying high up with no catches, so staying in this hotel with such wide opening windows was frightening, with filthy window sills. The bathroom was unpleasantly hot with a radiator too hot to let a child near and it made the room stifling as there was also underfoot heat (especially as you could only open a tiny top window safely ). The breakfast was average and the order brought incorrectly. Not a pleasant hotel and not safe for a family.
