Services
We take our beds and our breakfasts very seriously to ensure that your stay is a memorable experience. We have three room categories at The Lynch Country House and all offer the same British, 5 star, hand made, mattresses found in some of the best hotels in Britain. They are covered with fabulous goose down and feather duvets and pillows.
Breakfast at the Lynch is served in our light and airy Orangery and you are most welcome to choose from the breakfast table a selection of popular cereals, fresh fruits, award winning, smooth and creamy French 'Ferme des Peupliers' fruit yoghurts and freshly squeezed orange juice. This followed by our traditional Lynch Country House Breakfast consisting of Tom Parker Bowles recommended sausage and proper, dry cured back and smoked streaky bacon from Sandridge Farm in Wiltshire, fabulous soft textured Clonakilty black and white puddings from southern Ireland, mushrooms and oven roasted tomatoes.
The Coach house is a 2 bedroomed en-suite self catering cottage. Both bedrooms have super king or twin beds to suit your needs. Fully furnished with all linen, towels & toiletries provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with an integral fridge, dishwasher & washer dryer & a dining table large enough to seat 6-8 people, open plan to lounge with 2 sofas (1 is a double sofa bed), an easy chair, smart TV and log burner. The french doors lead out to a private gated garden and patio area, secluded for children and pets.

We've just had our second stay at The Lynch and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Covid restrictions were slightly more relaxed this time and we got to stay in the main house. Our room was enormous, spotlessly clean and looked out over a stunning wedding cake tree, which was in full flower. The manager, Lynne, is very friendly and the service from all the staff is great.
We were lucky enough to have the owner, Mr Copeland, join us at breakfast a few times, which made our visit all the more enjoyable as he's a very interesting man. The village is also lovely and we recommend the White Hart for a good meal.
