Highly recommend this venue. The attention to detail and customer focussed staff add to the great central location. Great pricing offering good value. Only thing I'd say is book direct with them - not via booking.com. Booking.com were really obstructive in managing the details of our booking but the staff on site were absolutely amazing.

The location is great and all in all a nice place. Rooms were clean and fairly modern and staff all very friendly and helpful. Problem is that pipes in the walls were creaking and banging all night, almost every hour. It made it really hard to get a good night's sleep which is a shame because everything else was good. It's nothing fancy but it's great value for the price.

I'd love to give a review on this hotel but unfortunately they left the wrong key in the safe box for me, so when I turned up at 11pm I could not enter the building. Seemed nice from outside though as I gazed through the window looking for someone to let me in. Had to check into another hotel at 1am as the emergency call out guy never showed up. Maybe our keys got mixed up and he was locked out of his house too. I'll try again soon as it seems like a nice little B&B apart from the mix up to be fair.

A charming little pub with the cheapest gins (considerably cheaper) in Wells centre. Lovely log burning fires on cold days, plenty of drinks choice and a good Sunday roast. We also stayed a night in their hotel later in the week after we found that the pub so charming. The rooms were fairly priced and the bed duvet and pillows were the comfiest I've had in a long time. I 100% need one of the pillows at home !
