Booked a pampering overnight stay. We had fantastic time. The hotel and the grounds are impressive. The whole places has a sophisticated yet very relaxed feel. We enjoyed the spa treatments and the outdoor pool in particular. Very good food. The staff is extremely helpful. As a professional horticulturalists I can appreciate the upkeep of the grounds. I was particularly impressed with the espalier/cordon training of fruit and shrubs. I hope to visit soo again

I stayed for two nights to celebrate my tenth wedding anniversary. The room we stayed in was large, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Every member of staff we interacted with was helpful, friendly and professional. The building and grounds are beautiful and well kept, whilst still maintaining the essence of the place's history. We used the outdoor heated swimming pool located in the old dutch garden and it was so tranquil and relaxing.
I would also highly recommend the health spa, where we each had a back massage. They offer a range of treatments there and the ladies there are amazing at tailoring your treatment to be exactly what you want. The food in the restaurant is some of the best I've ever eaten; I would particularly recommend the chocolate, hazelnut and apricot dessert. They also make delicious bread to start the meal and I think I could have easily filled up on the fig and fennel rolls.
The waiters and waitresses were all wonderful and a real credit to the establishment. Though this was an expensive venture, I hope we'll be able to visit again for our next significant anniversary!

We got married at Tylney Hall and had the most perfect day. We originally booked in 2018, but due to the pandemic our day was rescheduled twice. Despite the difficulties many hospitality venues faced, the staff at Tylney were very understanding and did their best to help us change the date when we were in lockdowns, uncertain how long they'd be and unable to plan properly for our wedding.
On the day, everything ran smoothly and the food was divine. Tylney Hall is a lovely location any day of the year, but it looked especially stunning dressed up for Christmas. We had so many compliments on the venue and what a wonderful time our guests had! My husband and I are so glad we chose Tylney, and we're looking forward to coming back for romantic breaks at a place now very special to us. A huge thank you to Garry and the rest of the team for your brilliant service and going the extra mile every time. Photos by the incredible Alistair Jones of Ideal Imaging.

I had a lovely stay here. Firstly the staff were very helpful and friendly. And all the food there was amazing and everything was fresh. Bar is wonderful for evening drinks. My room was clean and big enough for my stay. Bathroom was lovely with a big tub and molton brown minis. I would love to stay here again.

I had a great getaway weekend at Tylney Hall Hotel. There is nothing I can fault about this place. The team is extremely efficient and friendly. The food looked very high end and was really tasty at The Oak Room Restaurant. The Spa treatment was very relaxing and professional. Definitely coming back! Best hospitality service I've gotten in a very long time! Thanks for making our stay even more special!

We had a great weekend at Tylney Hall with our 1 yr old son. Everything from the hotel was beautiful and the service was at such high standard. All the staffs made us feel very welcomed and did their best to accommodate the little one's needs. The food was amongst the best in the country using high quality ingredients. All meals we had over the two night stays were amazing, including the children menus and room services. The ground is huge and beautiful. We will definitely come back. Can't wait to see the gardens in full bloom. Thanks to all staffs for making our stay so special!

What s wonderful lunchtime experience. Everything is so very comfortable and cosy. The food was excellent and may seem a little pricey, but is good value when you consider the whole package. The staff were very friendly and attentive and certainly made us feel most welcome. There is a really great atmosphere about the place and it is not at all "stuffy".
The extensive grounds are well situated to stroll around to stretch your legs before returning for coffee by the large log fire. We have been on a few previous occasions for lunch or afternoon high tea, and hope to return many more times in the future.

Just returned from a weekend break and can't speak highly enough of Tylney Hall. Authentic faded grandeur set in beautiful gardens and underscored by impeccable service. We do a quarterly country house weekend away and this is probably the best so far, which given it's late November speaks volumes. Looking forward to returning in summer when it will come even more into its own. It's well documented how the hospitality industry is struggling with experienced staff so hats off to everyone at Tylney Hall for making our stay so memorable.

Stayed for the first time last night when we were celebrating an anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Staff were absolutely amazing people - so attentive and keen to ensure that you were being well looked after. The Oak Room restaurant dinner was excellent and we couldn't fault it at all, plus the extensive wine menu with some extremely reasonable prices was a joy to look through .
The rooms were spotlessly clean if a little tired, but the beds very comfortable and pillows fabulous. In all, nothing was too much trouble and we'll definitely return. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

We were celebrating a friends birthday. Tylney Hall is stunning and a very relaxed ambience with classical music being played in the background. We all savoured the afternoon tea provided. The staff were very polite and attentive. There was nothing which was too much trouble. A lasting impression was that we were never rushed feeling we had to leave within a certain time frame. I would love to visit again.

Nice old country estate with a golf course. Large gravel car park (not suitable for stilettos, so drop your passengers off at the main door before parking). Good selection of rooms and suites. Pricey but it is still classy. Staff very helpful but not as attentive as they were a decade ago, but times change. Buffet and freshly ordered breakfasts with plenty of staff at hand. Marked down a star because if you want a meal in the restaurant in the evening, you only have the table for 1.5 hours - even though you can spend 100+ a head for three courses with wine.

We had a lovely experience here celebrating a birthday. The staff were very welcoming and gave us a birthday card! The best bit was definitely the scone which came out warm (more would have been great). The sandwiches were also great, and we were offered more of these! Its worth looking around the gardens whilst you're there too. Would recommend!

Spent two nights here. Very friendly staff, spectacular grounds and good food. Our room, which was in the main mansion, was spacious and well equipped. The heated outdoor pool was a particular highlight. By far the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in. Not the place to go if you are just after value for money. However really relaxing, welcoming and enjoyable experience.
