A well established hotel that has served Fleet for many years. It is still unruined by modernisation. Restaurant has a good menu and not overpriced. Bedrooms are well designed for the 2nd floor turrets. Comfortable bed. Bathroom has bath with shower over, basin & low level toilet. Nice touch with complimentary soap, shampoo & hand cream. There is a standing fan if needed & the sash window opens. The staff were welcoming & helpful. They took time to have a chat & were very approachable.

Nice room, .receptionist wasnt very informative, had to keep going back to reception a few times as wasnt told they needed a card to order room service, and wouldnt have been told we could order breakfast.to the room had I not asked! I then had to fill a.form out and take it to reception rather than just.hang it on the door. We stayed in the suite with jacuzzi

The hotel received a lot of cancellations and do we ended up probably being the only ones in the hotel that night but staff treated us so well. The chef went to town on our dinner - massive portions and really tasty. We were the only ones in the restaurant for dinner and staff made it really pleasant by allowing us to sit wherever we chose. We chose the conservatory which had great Christmas decorations. Breakfast was room service only which we had no problem with. See photos: one continental and one full English.

Afternoon tea, wasn't the cheapest we have been to but really wasn't the greatest. Scones dry and stale definitely not fresh and the cakes were pretty much just boxed cake nothing special at all. Company was brilliant which made a really great afternoon. Getting the bill seemed to cause confusion and considering a set price was a long wait.

Stayed in the "garden wing". Room was comfortable but quite dated. Unfortunately I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep due to the crystal clear sound of a neighbour's snoring coming through the walls. Shower had no power either. Staff are lovely, and with some investment, could be a lovely hotel in a lovely setting! The room I stayed in desperately needed some sound insulation, and modernising.

Had end of season dinner here for 80. Lots of parking Large function room with own bar and room for dancing after. Food was good and served to all swiftly, however I felt the evening was let down by the bar service. Bar staff lacked experience leading to delays. Also they would benefit from a decent bitter.

Excellent location. Lovely tidy hotel. Staff were so happy and friendly. Lot of guests were stuck up a###holes. People moaning cos the plates were too hot at breakfast. Or that the fried eggs had gone. 1 minute later they were there! Or the beans were in need of a stir. Just bloody stir the beans then!. Some staff were new the weekend we visited. New chef, new bar staff.
They done so well. The waitresses were running around trying to keep the snobs happy. Bless em. Poor kids dealing with people that want there backsides wiped. Loved my stay there

Had a great stay here. Great location, staff were so friendly and helpful and all worked so hard, receptionist gave us some great locations to visit and the food, which I believe a new chef started the day before we arrived was absolutely outstanding ( I highly recommend the steak and ale pie)Our room was comfortable and very clean and the hotel had a great outdoor seating area. Thankyou so for a lovely weekend away

This is a really nice hotel. The staff have been wonderful and the food is great. Definitely a nicer experience for the business traveller and I'm sure as a base for holiday makers too. My room isn't huge but it's got everything I need and I'm very happy with it. I will say, there are a lot of stairs, some are quite tight so if you have mobility issues make sure you bring this up when booking. Looking forward to my next stay.

This place is a great little find. Wonderful rates for business. Quaint hotel with a bed and breakfast feel to it. Staff is friendly and courteous. They try very hard to please. Wonderful green belt around the hotel that really makes you feel you are out in the country. However, there are large homes on the other site of the green belt. Very quiet place. Rooms are very spacious. Downside, there is really not a lunch time there.
If you want lunch you need to ask the staff and they will ask the chef if he has time to do it. To me, this is silly. Why would you ask the chef if a customer wants to spend their money. By USA standards, that would never happen.

The Lismoyne is best described as country inn near the heart of Fleet, Hampshire and only a few minute walk to the high street (Fleet Road) where there is a nice variety of shops and restaurants (although most of the shops close at 5:00-5:30pm). The hotel has a small lobby with a bar/pub off to one side and the restaurant to the other side and all pretty much with a classic country in motif.
The rooms are down a hall and are pretty spacious (although it may be because our room was wheel chair accessible). The room has all the modern amenities (flat panel TV, wired high speed internet, ironing bard, coffeepot, etc.) and very clean. The rooms are very quiet with only the sound of an occasional owl hooting outside. The land around the hotel is nicely wooded and has a nicely sized car park.
The breakfast (complimentary) was very nice with both hot classic English breakfast, cereal/fruit bar, pastries, etc. The bar is small but has a large LCD TV and a decent selection of beers and wines (although I was disappointed they were out of cider). The service is pretty darn good especially Paul the night porter who goes the extra distance to ensure a great stay.
In a nutshell, if you are in the Fleet area I can very much recommend the Lismoyne Hotel. Note: The also host a wide variety of events including weddings, corporate parties, etc.

Well established and welcoming hotel very close to the centre of Fleet. Think the hotel is 4 stars from memory but seemed very warm and welcoming on a recent meeting that I attended. Ample parking out the front with well laid on food and drink ( Company was picking up the tab for me). Didn't have to opportunity to sample any of the rooms but can guess judging from the reception they would be very reasonable. And well presented and furnished. Check website for rates and more info etc but overall nice hotel in good proximity to transport links, towns and motorway links.
