Hook House Hotel has a total of 15 ensuite bedrooms all individually decorated and designed to make your stay with us a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable experience. At Hook House we strive for comfort and as such, our 6 single rooms are all furnished with a small double bed and include a writing desk and chair.

Very old place and furniture. Feels like the furniture might fall apart. Service excellent and discreet, breakfast is good. Unfortunately no longer a quiet rural retreat as housing sprung up all around with a Supermarket being built next door. Located on a very busy road. Rooms are hot so need window open therefore noisy.

A lovely character Manor House hotel in a perfect setting if you wish to visit Pennybridge Alpaca Farm, which is less than a ten minute drive away. Lovely, quiet hotel, with spacious comfortable rooms, cosy bar area and a lovely freshly cooked to order, breakfast. Friendly, attentive, but non-obtrusive staff.

I would highly recommend the Hook House Hotel. The service was faultless and the venue was perfect for what I needed, somewhere clean and comfortable to work for a couple of days whilst undertaking other engagements. I will definitely be back! Thank you Kate & staff for your hospitality. (Ps the pizza was super!)

We stayed here after a friend's wedding which was nearby. The king room was lovely and tasteful, with a very comfy large bed. Staff were very accommodating to us with our baby. Breakfast was good and plentiful and we had a couple of drinks from the bar. Would recommend. Just a shame we didn't get to try the pizzas! The menu looked great

I cannot praise the staff here enough old school charm with modern cleanliness, excellent facilities and amazing food. Kate is an absolute joy of a human who made not just myself feel welcome but my dog too. If you are looking for a dog friendly place then go no further, stay here. I will be returning many times

Great hosts, great food and lovely Manor house. Clean, and comfortable an ample parking. Breakfast is a must and the pizzas are great and location is good and handy for amenities. Couldn't ask for more. However drive is quite bumpy amd rutted so lowered cars may struggle - take your time and dodge the pot holes, but worth the slalom.
